Happily Letter After is a magical story that completely captivated me from page one. It is so easy to fall in love with these characters and the love story they take you on.

Sadie works for a magazine and in charge of several different articles, one being seasonal column for Dear Santa letters. It is a surprise to her when she had received a Dear Santa letter from a ten and a half year old in the middle of the summer. From that very first letter from Birdie you’ll be falling in love with that sweet little girl right along with Sadie. The connection these two have is instant and this is just from letters. Once Sebastian, Birdie’s father, comes in and the chemistry between him and Sadie is OFF THE CHARTS! Sebastian is a single father, after his wife and Birdie’s mother passed away four years prior.

THE LETTERS! They KILLED ME. Birdie’s requests were hilarious at times and also had me crying at times. The way Sadie helped her was adorable. Birdie stole this story for me. She is so sweet and caring. The love she has for her dad is adorable. She wants her father to be happy and knows that he is doing the best he can to play both parent roles in her life. The connection between Sadie and Sebastian was pretty instant, too, however, they both tried to deny it for as long as possible. Sebastian felt like he was betraying the relationship he had with his wife, even though it’s been 4 years. Sadie knew he wasn’t looking for something serious, so she was hesitant to even start something. BUT eventually they give in and SPARKS FLY!

This story took a turn that I wasn’t expecting, but once it happened, I was loving the idea. It was something different, emotional, beautiful and selfless.

Happily Letter After is MUST READ, one of my TOP READS of 2020 and hands down one of my favorite’s from Vi and Penelope.

Layla is the host of a hockey radio show so she is familiar with the local team and it’s players, however, there is one man that she can’t stand and that is Miller.

I love the banter between Miller and Layla. Miller is definitely flirty with her and has no issues with showing how interested he is to wanting to take her out on a date. Layla just ignores all of Miller’s advances at this point. Dating a professional athlete is not high on her list. However, after WAY too much champagne and a bachelor auction Miller finally gets his dream….or so he thinks.

I LOVED Layla’s grandma. She was cracking me up. She had no problem with being flirty with Miller and I was dying the entire time. I loved the relationship Layla had with Grandma Nancy, though she was her parent growing up, there is such a fun and friendly vibe between them.

The chemistry between Layla and Miller is there, even though it took a LONG time for things to finally advance between them once they did the sparks really started to fly. Miller is a sweet and romantic side to him that he doesn’t show to everyone. Despite acting like a playboy, he does want to settle down and have a family with someone, but he is picky about who. There was a little unexpected drama that hurt Layla and Miller’s relationship and that broke my heart for how long that went on, but once they both came to their senses again everything worked itself out quickly.

Only One Chance was a fun story to read and I loved getting to know more of the Dallas crew. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Manning!!

Each character. Each story. Each connection. There is so much to love about this story.

Mia, the freshman, the gamer, the tutor and trying to get away from her controlling mother. Ashton, the swimmer, the dean’s son, gay. Drew, the new coach, former NHL player. Brayden, the school hockey star, the broken man, the slacker and a player. Each of these characters are different yet they all share a connection and chemistry between each other. Mia and Ashton are best friends. Brayden and Drew have a history together.

Each of these characters if navigating their relationship with each other and learning how to deal with new found feelings and emotions. This is honestly one story you just have to read for yourself. This is such a slow burn, angsty, emotional story but I LOVED every single moment of it.

This story told from 4 different POVs and is a mix of enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, RH and some taboo. While it may not be for everyone, it is a MUST READ if you have an open mind.

What a WILD ride!!! This story was so much more than I expected and I LOVED every single moment of the journey it took me on.

Halder is fresh out of prison only to be kidnapped and dropped in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. Blakely is a social worker who frequents the prison Halder was just released from, despite a few stolen glances they never had any other connection. Until now, they are forced to work together to survive.

I haven’t read a ton of survival romances in the past, but I have loved every single one I have read and Left for Wild is no exception. I loved Halder and Blakely’s story. They made a great team. They had some amazing chemistry from the start and of course, I loved the banter between them. Despite being a convicted felon, I loved that it wasn’t the main focus of Blakely and Halder’s relationship.
Watching their relationship bloom in the middle of the wilderness while they were trying to survive was beautiful, despite everything going else around them they managed to form a bond that is stronger than most bonds. They looked out for each other and they were protective of each other. They had to rely on each other just to survive each day.

Left for Wild is full of emotions, adventure and romance and completely worth the ride that it will take you on.

Consumed by Love is the first book I’ve read from C.M. Albert and I LOVED this steamy little office romance.

Brynn is out celebrating her birthday, when a Pierce, a handsome and mysterious stranger captures her attention and gives her a weekend that she’ll never forget. It was just supposed to be one weekend and they’d move on with their lives. Brynn never expected to walk into the office and see the man who gave her the best birthday of her life as her new boss.

The chemistry between Brynn and Pierce was OFF THE CHARTS!!! These two were melting the pages from the very first connection and I swear their connection only grew as the story continued. I loved the forbidden aspect of their story, too. I completely devoured their story and loved every single moment.

Consumed by Love will completely consume you with this quick, steamy, forbidden office romance.

Bentley is an arrogant, rookie professional basketball player. Jolene is a flight attendant for International Airlines. They meet while Jolene is working and it is Bentley’s first time on a plane. The attraction was instant for Bentley, however, he is the type who doesn’t really date, never seen with the same girl more than once. Jolene has several walls up, she isn’t interested in Bentley, especially after the fling she had with Carter Clynes.

Bentley had to work hard to get Jolene to go on a date with him, she really didn’t make it easy. Jolene’s judgement of Bentley was a little frustrating at times, because she judged him based on her past and based on what she found online about him. I just wanted to yell at her and tell her to give the man a chance and let him prove you wrong. However, from the first date there was plenty of chemistry. There was a lot of chase between them, but once Jolene finally gave Bentley the chance sparks really started to fly between these two.

I loved getting a little Derrick cameo, who is featured in Katrina’s story Remember that Night. I loved all the second characters in this story and I’m definitely wanting a story for Ross (Bentley’s teammate) and Lana (Jolene’s best friend and coworker), because there was a little connection there.

Big Baller is full of banter, chemistry, heat and a little drama. It is a great addition to the Cocky Hero club.

I’d spent my whole career avoiding dangerous situations. I get within 10 feet of Lily and it’s one disaster after another. She was like the Bermuda Triangle.

Nicola Rendell hit out of the park again. I absolutely loved this story, but how can you now fall in love with an urban legend hunter, The General and some hot romance? Gabe was the perfect mix of alpha and sweet and Lily is sweet, clumsy, adorable. Their first meeting literally knocks Gabe off his feet and he doesn’t know what hits him.

Sometimes the thing you’ve been looking for shows up when you least expect it.

Gabe is probably one of the hottest urban legend hunters on the planet, no wonder he fell into his own TV show. That show brought him ghost hunting in Savannah, Georgia. Lily, is a sound engineer and a Savannah native. They end up working together and the sparks start to fly.

The General may be my favorite character in this book and maybe my favorite character that Nicola has written. He is an African Grey Parrot that Lily inherited from her grandmother and The General loves Lily, very much. I couldn’t stop laughing at the things that came out of his mouth.

This book is full of sexiness, sweetness, a strong alpha male, a sweet southern girl, and loads of laughs. Definitely a must read and one of my favorite books of 2018!

If there is only one Holiday romance you read this year, it should be A Very Bossy Christmas. This book has the humor, the heat, two crazy families and Declan Cannavale.

Declan is a lawyer for a real estate firm, he comes from an Irish-Italian family (you can only begin to guess what family get togethers are like) and he works hard. He may have gotten himself in trouble the moment he mentioned to his mother that he was dating someone. Maddie is an executive assistant to Declan and pretty much keeps his life on track. She just wants to spend the holidays with her family, but getting her workaholic boss to give her the time off is going to be tricky. When Declan offer’s her what she wants how can she refuse? It’s all just pretend.

Declan and Maddie had chemistry from the beginning. There was an attraction between them from the start. I loved the banter between them, the fact that Maddie gives back as good as she gets. The woman is full of sass and I LOVED it. There is also plenty of playful flirting and several super sweet moments. Though, at times Declan was frustrating and I just kind of wanted to knock some sense into him.

I loved Maddie’s niece Piper, plus the couple chapters from her POV were HILARIOUS. Declan’s family was absolutely hilarious and crazy. Maddie’s family was just as fun. If I could be adopted by both of their families I would in a heartbeat.

A Very Bossy Christmas is the perfect Holiday romcom that will have you laughing and swoony from the very first page. A MUST READ!

I think I’m still in shock from this book and this series as a whole. Twisted Little Truths answered so many questions, but also had a few unexpected turns.

Things pick up right where things ended in Dangerous Little Secrets and trust me this is the conclusion you have been waiting for!! We learn who killed Lawson, which had my jaw on the floor. I was completely SHOCKED!!!!!

I continued to fall more and more in love with the relationship between Lacey, Banjo, Rafe and Colt. There is so much chemistry between this group and their friendship adds a whole other level to it. There are some sweet moments, some emotional moments, some funny moments and some rather steamy moments. The bond they all share is hands down one of my favorite things.

The Saint View series is addictive, captivating, full of twists and turns, a beautiful bond between four people and packs the heat. Twisted Little Truths is a MUST READ and I HIGHLY recommend this entire series!

The Bad Boy’s Bride is a marriage of convenience romance between a chef and a rancher.

Rachel is working as a chef when she unexpectedly has to head to Wyoming to deal with the will of a grandmother she never met. Clayton wants to take over the ranch, but due to some legal issues he can’t, unless he is a relative of the previous owner. To solve that issue him and Rachel get married.

Rachel and Clayton had amazing chemistry from the start and the more time they spent together it only seemed to grow stronger. While they met under unusual circumstances, that didn’t seem to cause any issues between them or the rest of the staff at the ranch.

This was a pretty quick read, but an enjoyable one that brought plenty of steam and sweet moments.
