If you don’t read this book and immediately want a boyfriend like Drake, well I don’t know what is wrong. Seriously, the man is a former baseball player AND he reads romance novels out loud. How can you not want that!?

Drake is a former baseball player, a gym teacher and he has a secret romantic side. I loved Evie and Drake’s relationship from the very start. They have a history together, but its been a few years since they have seen each other. There is an instant connection and amazing chemistry from the moment they meet again at a bookstore.

This is a novella so it is short and fast paced, but you’ll easily fall in love with this story and these characters. I truly hope we get more of them and get to see more of their backstory in the future.

I love Melody. She is hard worker, she truly loves her career and you can feel that throughout. She works hard for her family and she makes sure that those who work for her are happy and valued. She is just a likeable character and you can’t help but want to be friends with. Callum is super swoony. He is sweet and caring. Even after six years there is LOADS of explosive chemistry between Melody and Callum and I truly loved their relationship. There was a giant elephant in the room when it came to their relationship and I do wish that Melody didn’t wait so long (I was yelling at my kindle just for her to admit it) and Callum’s reaction was understandable and how I think anyone would act, especially when its not the first time it has happened.

Stripped Love is a fast paced, second chance romance that will captivate you from the very first page. There is a little drama mixed in and plenty of steamy moments with some sweetness mixed in. If you’re looking for a quick weekend read this one is a MUST READ!

Drew is the first book in an all new series from Amanda Shelley and this is such a sweet and fun story. Drew and Abby initially seem like complete opposites, but they really have a lot of similar goals in life.

Drew is a star basketball player, he is at college on a sports scholarship, however, he is focused on school and trying to get into medical school to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor. Abby is hard working, she is studying hard to get into med school, so when Drew is her new lab partner in chemistry she is less than thrilled.

I loved Drew and Abby from the moment they met. I loved how much Drew surprised Abby with the fact he wasn’t just a dumb jock who expected her to do all the work and he’d just get the grade. There was an instant connection between them. Then, things progressed into the friend zone which is fun and the chemistry continued to grow, along with Abby trying to keep Drew safely in the friendzone because who knew where they would both be in a year. However, you can only deny chemistry like theirs for so long before you have to see how good it can be.

Drew and Abby’s relationship is fun, sweet and has some steam. I loved seeing how things progressed and how seeing these two people who may seem like total opposites come together and learn there is more to someone than what is on the outside and stereotypes.

Man on Top is a novella and gives a little sneak peak into the Sebastians.

From the moment I started reading I was hooked. I instantly feel in love with Tess. She is hard working, however, her dating life is a little nonexistent. Scott Sebastian is a member of the Sebastian family. A family that everyone knows. He is 100% alpha and from the little bits you get of them is easy to love!

Though this novella just gives a little sneak peak into the world of the Sebastians and an introduction to Tess it will leave you wanting more! I can’t wait to see where Tess and Scott’s story goes!

From the moment Skye and Braden meet there is something between them. You can feel the chemistry brewing and the tension. Skye tries to avoid Braden, however, the man is persistent. There is something about Skye that is drawing Braden in, something that makes her different from anyone else.

There is some mystery and some drama sprinkled in with all the steaminess! I can’t wait to see where things go for both Skye and Braden! If you love a steamy, erotic romance with a little bit of mystery and darkness this one is a MUST READ!

From the moment Quinn was introduced in Lies & Lullabies I was curious about her story, I wanted to know more about her. Rifts and Refrains did not disappoint and is a fantastic small town, second chance romance that will have you feeling all sorts of emotions.

After nine years, Quinn is returning back to the home she left and the family she left. She isn’t ready to confront the past, but after the passing of her grandmother, she knew she couldn’t avoid home any longer. Graham never left the town he grew up in, he worked hard and eventually started his own business. He has a great relationship with not only his family, but also with Quinn’s.

Even after nine years, pain and heartache there is still a connection between Quinn and Graham. Plus, mix in their meddling mothers and, well the rest of their families and they can’t really avoid each other. There is a lot both of them need to work through and a lot they need to talk about. I loved the relationship between Quinn and Graham. There was just an easy going vibe they had with each other and a connection they shared.

Rifts and Refrains is an emotional MUST READ and will draw you in from the very first page! I can’t wait to see what is in store for the final member of the Hush Notes, Nixon.

Stones Unturned is a beautifully written, emotional story that will captivate your heart from the very beginning.

Kaylee is a strong woman. Her family has her entire life planned for her, though it isn’t what she wants it is her family and she will do anything for them. That is until a mysterious man finds her and turns her life completely upside down.

Meade Lake is a town you’ll want to visit. It’s on a lake, picturesque and has the close-knit small-town vibe you can’t help but love. Everyone there knows Kaylee, however, Kaylee doesn’t know them. She feels like an outsider. They instantly all treat her like family. Derrick is pretty guarded, however, after hearing stories about Kaylee from her grandmother he knew he needed to find her, he needed to bring her back to the town her grandmother lived in.

I loved the relationship between Kaylee and Derrick. They are instantly drawn to each other and the more time they spend together their bond continues to grow. There are so many sweet moments between them, but also some steamy scenes. Kaylee’s relationship with everyone in Meade Lake is truly beautiful. She instantly bonds with some and one particular person takes a little bit longer to warm up to her, but once they finally talk things are so fun and natural. The growth of Kaylee throughout this story is one of my favorite things. She is all about just doing whatever her parents want, even if it doesn’t make her happy, however, after a short time in Meade Lake she starts to realize there is so much more to life and she can do so much more.

Stones Unturned is a MUST READ and a standalone in the Meade Lake series, however, I HIGHLY suggest reading book one because Ryder and Mila’s story is just as beautiful.

Be still my heart, Jax Kingston. Wrecked literally wrecked me. It broke my heart, it mended it. It took me on a roller coaster of a ride. It made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me angry, it made me cry. If there is only one more book you read this year or any year, it should be this one.

Jax is a F1 racer, he has a great career, a great team he works for, loving parents, but he also is suffering. There is so much about himself that he keeps away from the public eye, his team and his own friends. However, when his team decides that he needs someone to help with his partying, playboy image, he knows that some his secrets and his suffering can only remain hidden for so long.
Elena is a great PR rep, she is amazing at her job, probably the best. A saint for having to deal with half the stuff Jax puts her through. She experienced tremendous loss at such a young age, but she kept fighting, she kept those goals to make her family proud. She does everything she can to make sure her grandmother is taken care of.

The chemistry between Jax and Elena is instant. I loved their working relationship; I love seeing them both try to fight their connection. The struggles they both had. I loved seeing them finally give in to each other and their feelings, the realization that they are both broken pieces and that maybe they can mend their broken pieces together.

Wrecked is beautiful, emotional and so much more than I ever expected. Honestly, this book deserves a million stars. From the very start to the very end this story will have you feeling everything and falling in love with Jax and Elena. It is a MUST READ and a TOP READ of 2020.

The Dating Lesson is a steamy, fast paced, age gap, professor/student romance that will suck you in from the very first page.

I loved Kimmy. She wanted to make things better for her family and right the wrongs that were dealt to her father and brother. She is hard working, determined and focused, though, she does like to have a little fun. Leo loves being a professor, he has a reputation at the school as being a good professor and equally good looking.

Kimmy and Leo met on a dating app, everything started as a little harmless texting, then progressed into sending pictures and videos. They had a connection, they had fun. What they didn’t expect was that Kimmy would walk right into his class. Things should have stopped, however, they only escalated. I loved the chemistry between Kimmy and Leo. Yes, there was LOADS of steaminess and physical attraction, but there was also a deeper connection between them. They supported each other and had so many sweet moments together.

I have already fell in love with the entire Shaw family, but Tanner Shaw completely stole my heart.

He is scared to put himself out there, but when it comes to Timber it just feels right. Timber also has some walls put up, she doesn’t let people in easily and given her history and past it makes sense why.

Blayze Shaw continues to steal some scenes throughout this story and gives his Uncle Tanner a run for his money, along with their family friend Dirk.

Good Enough is emotional, beautiful, full of many great family moments and full of love. A MUST READ!!!
