Single mom. Angst. Slow burn. Sexy Neighbor. The Anti-Boyfriend took me on an emotional ride that I never wanted to end. From the moment I started reading I was hooked and couldn’t put the book down.
Carys is a single mother to the most adorable little girl, Sunny. (Side note: Sunny will steal your heart and melt it. She is the cutest, sweetest baby and you just can help but smile and love the little girl.) Carys suffered a career ending injury. She is tired of listening to her neighbor entertain women, so she confronts him and it didn’t turn out like she expected. Deacon is enjoying his life in New York. He has friends, a job and just enjoying everything. Then Carys walks into his life.
I LOVED the friendship that Carys and Deacon formed. It was fun and sweet. You could tell how much these two cared about each other and that they would do anything for each other. There was a lightness to their friendship, it was easy going and neither one of them had to force anything.
However, they were both feeling something more for each other and things began to shift. There were times I was frustrated and yelling at my kindle, because how can you not with an angsty slow burn? Plus, Deacon with Sunny. Ugh, there are no words to describe how much I loved it and how sweet it was.
The Anti-Boyfriend is everything I could have wanted and so much more. I devoured this book and loved every single moment of the story. This book is a MUST READ and a TOP READ of 2020.

Yours to Keep is the second book in the Man of the Year series, however, this can easily be read as a standalone.
Carter is a professional baseball player, also he is the current Man of the Year, however, he is injured and currently cannot play the sport he loves. After his twin sister all but forces him to come back to their hometown for the high school reunion with the promise his high school girlfriend is single and will be there, he packs up and heads to his hometown. Olive is a teacher at the school she used to attend. She is friends with Carter’s sister and his former classmate and lab partner. She can now add his new neighbor to her list.
I loved Olive from the moment she was introduced. She was quirky, smart and just had a fun and bright personality. I liked that Carter wasn’t the overly cocky professional sports star. Yes, he is the towns proud and joy, but he is nice and kind. He is also caring. I loved how Olive and Carter were introduced to each other again. I loved how Olive just kind of inserting herself into Carter’s life, it led to many funny moments and great banter between both Carter and Olive.
Yours to Keep was a fun, sweet romance.

Rules for Dating Your Ex is bittersweet for me. I have fallen in love with this series and the entire Bailey family. I wasn’t prepared for this story to end but this book was everything I could have wanted and so much more for Sedona and the entire Bailey family.
Sedona Bailey, one of the youngest in the family, and the one member who up until this point don’t know a whole lot about. She is a single mother to the most adorable little girl, Palmer. She works hard to provide for her and her daughter and she is 1000% selfless when it comes to helping her family. Her relationship with Jamison has been mentioned throughout the series, but he is also somewhat of a mystery. He is the father of Palmer, he is also Sedona’s one love and a professional soccer player, however, he went through his own struggles that caused him to lose everything he cared about. But, now he is better and he is back for Sedona and his daughter.
Sedona and Jamison’s story was an emotional one. They haven’t had it easy throughout the course of their relationship and Jamison has a lot to make up for when it comes to Sedona trusting him. I loved seeing him with Palmer, there were so many sweet father/daughter moments throughout, and they will melt your heart. I loved that Sedona and Jamison still had so much chemistry between them, there is so much love still there.
There is plenty of the whole Bailey gang in this story and some brief introductions to an upcoming series from Piper Rayne. If you’re wondering who is behind the Lake Starlight Buzz Wheel…..all is FINALLY revealed!
Rules for Dating Your Ex is emotional, beautiful, and hilarious. It is the perfect combination of everything you want in a romance. A MUST READ and a great farewell to the Bailey family.

Penthouse Prince is a single dad, second chance romance with the sweetest little girl.
Lexington Dane is successful, however, once he finds out how ill his mother is, he returns home to be close to her with his little girl. He needs a nanny for her so he can continue to work, so when his best friend suggests his sister, who just so happens to be the girl whose heart Lex broke ten years prior he is hesitant. Corrigan had her heart shattered ten years ago when Lex left for college and never once looked back. But now he needs her help, he his trusting her with his precious little girl, Grier. Can she forgive Lex for what happened in the past?
Grier steals the show. She is adorable, sassy and you just can’t help but love her. No wonder Corrigan quickly fell in love with her, too. There are so many sweet moments between the little girl and Corrigan that will melt your heart. Lex and his daughter though, there are some seriously sweet scenes with him. The love he has for his daughter is beautiful. She’s his entire world. The relationship between Corrigan and Lex is full of tension. There is so much hurt and pain, but now that they are spending time together again, there is still tons of chemistry between them.

Feels Like Home is a small town, second chance romance that will warm your heart.
Anson and Bristol have been in love for years, until Anson leaves without so much as a goodbye and becomes a famous country star. Bristol is heartbroken, the boy she thought she loved shattered her heart into a million little pieces. However, after a few incidents Anson is forced to take a break and returns to his hometown.
Anson and Bristol have a history. They have LOADS of chemistry between them. However, there is still so much pain and heartbreak between them. Anson never stopped loving her, he never once wasn’t thinking about her and that showed in his songs. Seeing Anson again brings up some unresolved feelings for Bristol, there is so much she didn’t know because she refused to listen to his music, however, she was so incredibly proud of him and everything he has accomplished in his career.
On a side note, I LOVED Bristol’s brother, Drake, and her best friend Mindy. They were fun secondary characters and I’m secretly hoping and crossing my fingers that they get a story, because there is definitely something to tell.
Anson and Bristol are two people who just belong together. They are truly perfect for each other. They balance each other out. Their story is full of ups and downs, heartbreak and love, tears and laughs. It’s a beautiful second chance romance that will bring a smile to your face.

Feels Like Home is a MUST READ!
Only One Kiss is the first book of an all new hockey series from Natasha Madison. However, if you’ve read her This Is series, you’ll get some more of Evan and Zara, plus a little Justin and the heroine in this one is Evan’s sister, Candace.
Ralph was living the perfect life. He had a wife, he was playing hockey for a living and had a baby on the way. However, within moments his life changed, and he was left hockey and as a widowed single father to his sweet baby girl Ariella. Candace is highly in demand. She is good at her job and everyone wants to work with her.
From the moment Ralph and Candace meet there is a connection. They are both drawn to each other, plus Candace is also drawn to his baby girl, Ari. Candace agrees to take Ralph on as a client and she has one rule, she won’t date a client. The tension between them is fantastic and they can only ignore their connection before things escalate.
Candace and Ari was ADORABLE. There is so many sweet moments between them and every interaction between them is so natural. I loved it. Plus, Ralph and his baby girl. It will just warm your heart. He is so loving and protective over his daughter.
There is some drama and it broke my heart. I was in tears. However, things do eventually get better and all is right in the world of Candace and Ralph.
I loved every single moment of this story and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of this series! A MUST READ!

Pippa Grant’s books never fail on making me laugh out loud and swoon all that same time. Real Fake Love is no exception to that. Anti-love grumpy hero and a love to easily, sassy heroine, plus a TikTok Nonna are everything you need in your life.
Henri is all about love. She loves being in love, she loves writing about love. Her life is full of it. Until, after another failed wedding she is done and she seeks help from the one person she knows hates love, Luca. However, she is in for more than she bargained for when Luca also needs her help. Luca’s Nonna is always hounding him that he needs to settle down and when Henri around, he gives in to her wishes and they start a fake relationship….but those never turn out how either person wants.
Luca and Henri’s “relationship” was so much fun. I loved these two so much. They are complete opposites but they work so well together, plus Henri easily fits in with the lady Fireballs. There is so much awkward and sweet moments and some steamy moments. It’s just the perfect combination of everything.
Real Fake Love is a grand slam and a MUST READ that will have you falling in love with Luca and Henri.

Layer by Layer is the first book in a new series from Kaylee Ryan and I AM LOVING this series already. This book is the oldest Riggins brother, Royce.
Royce and Sawyer first meet on a plane. Sawyer is moving across the country after needing a change in jobs. Royce is returning back home to Nashville after a business trip. I loved their first meeting. Sawyer got to see a sweet side to Royce, however, after forgetting to get her number Royce doesn’t think he’ll see her again…..until she walks into his office as his new assistant.
Royce comes across as a workaholic grump, but he also has a sweet side to him. He was burned by a relationship in the past and that changed him. He noticed it and his entire family noticed it. Sawyer is alone, she lost her parents years ago and she doesn’t have any siblings. All she has in Nashville his her best friend, Hadley and her fiancé, David. Sawyer is fun, sweet, caring. She brings out a different layer to Royce.
I loved the chemistry between Royce and Sawyer. It was just so natural and progressed at the perfect pace. There is a lightness to the both of them and they are so sweet together. Royce is protective, caring and loving when it comes to her.
As for the rest of the Riggins brothers, well you can’t help but love them! I loved the relationship and bond between all the brothers. They are family, they love each other, they have each others backs and they love to poke the others. I loved how easily they all accepted Sawyer, she instantly was taken in by the entire Riggins family and it gave her something she had been missing from her life.
I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the brothers and to see more of Royce and Sawyer in the future. Layer by Layer is a MUST READ that will leave you with a smile and falling in love with this family.

If you’ve read Lovers then you know all about Jake and Jackson, if you haven’t read it you’re in for one wild ride. Buckle up and get ready to join these two men while they plan their wedding.
Surrender is a super quick, steamy, loveable novella. I loved every single moment of this story and of Jake and Jackson’s relationship. Jake and Jackson have so much chemistry and it is so easy to completely fall in love with these two and their relationship. Now I’m wondering how I can get an invite to their wedding reception because I’m just it will be perfection!
If you’ve read Lovers then this is the perfect addition to their story and if you haven’t this will give you a taste of their relationship and the rest of the Voyeur world and leave you wanting to know more. A MUST READ!

Fiona Cole isn’t a new author for me and this book was a reminder of why I love her stories so much.
This was HOT, kindle melting hot, it was angsty, it was full of drama. Plus if you love an age gap romance this is a MUST READ. I loved Voyeur and I loved Lovers, but this one truly blew them both out of the water.
I was hooked from the very beginning. Alexandra needed money, so why not sell your virginity. Erik answers her ad, but not for the reason she thinks. There is no denying the attraction between Erik and Alexandra, but it’s a matter of them giving into each other. Erik doesn’t want to be treated as a savior, he doesn’t want Alexandra to feel like she owes him her virginity.
This book was emotional, it tackles subjects that I think many romance authors wouldn’t even dare touch but Fiona Cole goes all in and does an AMAZING job with them.
The wait for the next book may kill after reading that epilogue!
This is of my TOP BOOKS OF 2019! Loved every single word of it.
