Living for Today is the first book in this duet and it is a beautiful story of a young woman who is looking to escape the demons of her past, but what she doesn’t expect to find is someone who can completely change her world.

Seven thousand miles is a gut-wrenching distance, and I can assure you it is absolutely possible to live with your body and your heart in different continents.

Emily and Austin are two broken people, but sometimes two broken people can fix each other. Emily is on vacation in California, visiting friends she had met in New Zealand. She needed to get away from her past, even if just for a few weeks. Austin is spending the Thanksgiving holiday with his family and the girl who is friends with his older brother and sister in law. Though, these two didn’t start on the right foot and that led to many do overs.

“I’m Emily Dixon and I judge people for the way they treat me, not the burdens they carry.”
“I’m Austin McKenna and I hope to God you’re real.”

It is so hard not to fall in love with these two and their relationship. Emily is strong, she is independent and she isn’t afraid to be herself. Austin may seem like he has his life together, and he does for the most part, but there is also a part of his life that many don’t know about, a part that seems to be the source of a lot of drama. Reading about these two and their need to be there for one another when they both need it most was beautiful.

This story had me laughing, it had me smiling, it had me crying (so make sure you have your tissues ready) and most of all it had me believing. Austin comes across as an arrogant jerk, but the more you get to know him and the more you see the real him, he will make you swoon, especially over his love for two most important people in his life.

Emily Dixon, the girl from the bottom of the world, had let me in, won my heart, and then walked away. Now, I wanted to call keeps.

Dreaming for Tomorrow is book two in the Seven Thousand Miles Duet.

I loved loved loved getting this story from Austin’s POV. I love him and I love how he is with Em and everything about their relationship with each other. Things aren’t easy for these two and the past has come back to haunt them big time. Despite the bad going on in their lives they still manage to live for today and dream for tomorrow.

I wanted to join Austin and Em on their sightseeing adventures, how can you not want to hang out with them? Austin’s “dude maness” and Em’s feistiness made me want to be best friends with them. I also felt scared for them at one point throughout the story, you’ll understand which part once you read the book and my major dislike over one of the characters *cough cough Dale*. Not only did I fall for Austin and Em, but also Hudson and Em’s love for the boy.

I absolutely LOVED this duet and I am sad it is over. I’m crossing my fingers that we may see more of Austin, Em, Patch, Ben and all their families in the future because I truly loved every single character throughout the duet. I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to read these books and will definitely continue to read more from this author in the future.

From this moment on, we were living for today, tomorrow, and all the forever after’s we could possibly wish for.

The Pool Boy is the PERFECT forbidden summer romance! Nikki Sloane brings the heat, the emotion and romance with this book and I loved every single moment of it!

Erika is newly divorced. Her pool boy just happens to be insanely gorgeous, he is also her best friends son. However, there is an attraction between them. Why not live out the pool boy fantasy? Troy has noticed Erika. He has thought about her a few times in a not so friendly manner, but when he has the chance to make all his dreams come true will he trust her?

I LOVED Erika and Troy’s relationship. Yes, it is forbidden, but the chemistry between them is SCORCHING. You’ll need a dip in the pool after reading these two. I loved that their relationship wasn’t just physical though. Troy has dreams, however, he doesn’t want to be rejected again. Erika’s support of those dreams, her belief that he can succeed, even though he doesn’t see that in himself. However, Erika’s dreams also come back. She has the inspiration she was lacking in the past. Naturally, they both have doubts throughout their relationship, however, they have to both learn to trust each other.

I loved getting a little glimpse of Greg and Cassidy, too! It is always great to see visits from old characters.

The Pool Boy is a MUST READ forbidden, age gap romance!

If you thought book one was intense, you are in for a wild ride! The moment I started reading this book I was completely sucked into the story, I had to know what was going to happen next. If you haven’t read book one yet, start there because King of Souls picks up right where things left off.

Nicco is in Boston, away from his love. Arianne is being forced into a marriage with the last man she would ever want to marry or do anything with. Nicco hates being away from her, he hates that he can’t be the one to keep her safe, but he needs to find answers that will keep them both safe and allow them to be together.

I loved how much Arianne has grown as a character throughout this duet. She was very sheltered growing up, however, she isn’t oblivious to things going on around her. She became such a strong heroine throughout this book, too. Her love for Nicco is beautiful, along with Nicco’s love for Arianne.

King of Souls took me on an emotional ride and I loved EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of it. I am DYING to see where this series is going and I can’t wait for more of this group!

If you’re looking for a book that will make you crave cupcakes, laugh out loud and swoon Kiss My Cupcake is going to be your jam!

Blaire owns a cupcake café. She is rocking the pin up vibe, baking some amazing cupcakes and creating matching cocktails. Ronan owns axe bar right next to Blaire’s shop. He is a plaid wearing, tattooed man who is continuing his family’s legacy. They are rivals from the moment they meet. I loved the back and forth between them. But when a new chain comes to their neighborhood, can these two rivals work together?

Blaire and Ronan have amazing chemistry. These two were constantly making me laugh. I loved the friendly competition between them. You instantly fall in love with these two characters and their slow burn of a relationship.

Kiss My Cupcake is the perfect RomCom to curb your sweet teeth and a MUST READ!

Ash and Mack have a history. They grew up together. She is his best friends’ little sister, so when they run into each other on the other side of the country and take a road trip back to their hometown together new feelings come to light and tension builds.

Ash wanted to keep everything hidden from their friends and family, however, Mack wanted to share everything. He didn’t want to hide their relationship. But with a surprise pregnancy, how long can they really keep things secret?

I LOVED Ash and Mack. Their story was a trip. It was emotional, steamy, tension filled and captivating. Their chemistry is off the charts and you could feel the tension between them just oozing off the pages. There was a bit in the middle of the story where things kind of slowed down, however, they quickly pick back up and it is an emotional ride to the end.

Steal My Heart is a swoon worthy, emotional, best friend’s little sister romance and a MUST READ!

Taylor Danae Colbert is a new to me author and I went into this book without reading the blurb and HOLY EMOTIONS! Mila and Ryder’s story is beautiful, emotional, and heartbreaking. I had no idea where this story was going to take me but I loved every single moment of it.

Mila and Ryder’s story is so emotional. These two characters have been through so much, especially Ryder. They have both experienced loss, but now they have a second chance. Can Mila overcome the events of the past and move on with Ryder?

I loved that this story bounces between the past and the present. I love getting those glimpses of Mila and Ryder’s relationship and the start of it, but also the events of that tore them apart for years. Mila is newly divorced, she is looking to heal and that involves confronting Ryder and going back to the place she hasn’t been for years. There is so much that was left unsaid between them. So much pain. So much heartbreak. Despite everything there is still so much chemistry between them. They were each other’s everything for two summers. They were each other’s first loves and that isn’t something you can easily move on from. Ryder, my heart broke for him. Everything that happens with him crushed me. I wasn’t expecting any of what happened.

Back to Shore is an emotional, second chance romance that is a MUST READ!

Crush was such a different story from what I usually read; however, I couldn’t help but love Ben and Marcy. These two people are opposite, yet so perfect for each other.

Ben hasn’t been himself for years, he has just been going with the flow, but not truly living. He didn’t feel like he could enjoy life anymore. Marcy is living, she is doing something so selfless. They came into each other’s lives when they least expected it, but found they were just what they needed.
I loved their relationship. I loved the chemistry between them from the start. I loved their texting banter and the uniqueness of their relationship, which is what made this story stand out to me. There are so ups and downs to their relationship, however, it is truly beautiful.

This story is set in K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World, so it was fun to see some old favorites pop up and play a role as secondary characters in this story.

If you’re looking for a romance that has a little twist to it, then definitely pick up Crush!

Alex has officially made the ranks of my Kayley Book Boyfriend List. The moment I started reading Troublemaker I was swooning over this story.

Alex is a single father, a film director and one of Hollywood’s hottest bachelors. Emilia is newly single and new to LA, she is also a teacher. They meet at a club and share the hottest kiss of their lives. They didn’t know anything else about each other, until Alex finds out that his son’s new teacher is the woman he met in the club. Let the fun begin…..

Not only is Troublemaker swoony, but this story is hilarious and steamy and sweet. Alex and Emilia have an instant connection and I LOVED their banter via e-mail and text. I just couldn’t get enough of them. However, the real scene stealer in this story is Ryder. That boy is sweet, hilarious and I loved his antics. He is a real troublemaker and honestly, I would LOVE to see a future story with Ryder as the hero. Though, because of their relationship and Emilia’s job there is a little drama but you can’t help but root for these two to make it through everything life throws at them together.

Troublemaker is the perfect mix of heat, laughs, and romance. A MUST READ!

The conclusion to Tyler and Gemma’s story was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. They didn’t have an easy path but they both deserved a happy ending. Needing You Close picks up where things left off in book one, Keeping You Away. Just like the first book this one is full of angsty, emotion, and drama. The slow burn is well worth the wait.

Tyler and Gemma have insane amounts of chemistry and you can feel that ooze off the pages when they are together. I can’t get enough of them. Tyler is protective, caring, 100% alpha male. Gemma is caring, she is fighter, protective of those she cares about. These two balance each other out perfectly. They heal each other. They work so perfectly together. Their relationship is full of ups and downs, however, they know that they can both rely on each other for support.

SO many unexpected things happened in this book. Things I NEVER would have guessed and at one point I’m pretty sure my jaw was on the floor. I loved getting some more of Liam and Maddie throughout the story, too. I love the relationship between Tyler and his sister. Plus, the friendship between Everleigh, Katie and Gemma.

Needing You Close is an angsty slow burn that is full of twists and turns. Tyler and Gemma’s story is a MUST READ!

Contemptuous CEO is full of sacrifices, secrets and second chances. I DEVOURED this book. The moment I started it I couldn’t put it down. I was completely sucked into this story and fell in love with the characters.

Twelve years ago, Xander graduated and started working for his uncle in New York. Leaving the love his life behind. He never forgot about her, she never forgot about him. They remained friends over the years. However, there was a secret between them. When that secret comes out will all be forgiven, or will it destroy everything?

I loved Xander and Maddie. They had amazing chemistry from the start, even after their relationship ended you could still feel the love between them. Xander isn’t the arrogant CEO I expected. He was caring, protective and still hard working. Maddie had made major sacrifices, but she has managed to do well for herself and her career.

There are also some fun visits from Hollis and Elodie throughout that I was loving!

This was a fast paced second chance romance and a MUST READ!
