I was so excited to find out Daniel was getting a story and the fact that this is also Hanna’s is a win. Teacher was everything I could have wanted and more for Daniel and Hanna and this series.

Hanna is a survivor. She is a fighter. She is broken. She is strong. She experienced something no one should ever have to; she still struggles with that darkness and the fact that her twin didn’t survive. My heart completely broke for her and what she experienced; however, I love that she wanted to fight that darkness and overcome her fears. Daniel is successful, he owns a bar and a club. However, there is a side to him that feeds a fear. A side that explains why he doesn’t do relationships and I just wanted to give him a hug.

I love Daniel and Hanna. They had chemistry from the start, even just as friends. Their relationship progressing was beautiful to read as they both slowly started to overcome everything that was holding them back. They needed each other to heal, to move on from the events of their pasts. They way Daniel is with Hanna is sweet. He is so caring, he doesn’t push her, he waits for her to want to go further. Hanna is also caring when it comes to Daniel. Everything about their relationship and connection is beautiful.

Teacher will have you experiencing a wide range of emotions. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll feel frustrated at times. I’m sad to say goodbye to Voyeur and to each of the couples I’ve grown to love over the years. This is a MUST READ and one of my TOP READS for 2020.

The moment I started reading this book I knew I would love it. I loved this book hard. It’s unconventional and that’s what makes it stand out so much. I DEVOURED it in a matter of hours.

Miranda wants to start her own business, but needs the money. Why not sell some of her grandfathers prized baseball cards? She is sassy, hardworking, and pretty much amazing. Noah is a professional baseball player; he loves collecting baseball memorabilia. He’s shy, awkward and because of his past self-conscious. He hates the fame side of his life, however, his love for baseball is strong.

Their first meeting is awkward. Their text conversations are hilarious and sweet and sometimes awkward. Their chemistry is fantastic. Their relationship goes to share that looks aren’t everything, it’s a person’s personality that is the true star.

Can we talk about Buzz for a moment? I LOVED him. He’s the friend who just shows up and you never want them around. He makes the inappropriate comments, but he’ll have your back. He’s the exact opposite of Noah. They have a weird friendship and I loved it.

Hard Pass is sweet and such a fun read. If you love an unconventional hero and heroine this one is a MUST READ. You’ll fall in love with Noah and Miranda from the start.

Carried Away is a refreshing read for me. Carrie is a journalist and heading back to her home town after being fired from her job. Jake is a former professional hockey player hiding from the public in a resort on Lake Placid.

From the moment they met I loved the interactions between Carrie and Jake. They had such a fun banter going between them. There was some tension and you could feel the chemistry between them. I loved the two of them together. Jake, I loved him so much. There was so much more to him than just a former professional hockey player. He had a rough life growing up and experienced loss as an adult that sent him into hiding. He comes across as gruff, but there is a sweet side to them that you can’t help but love. Carrie on the other hand, she took some time to get used to. At the start of the book there was just something about her that kind of rubbed me the wrong way, however, as the story progressed, I enjoyed her as a character.

Carried Away has drama, angst, heat, sweet moments and some moments that will make you laugh.

The moment I started this book I knew that I was going to completely fall in love with it. The characters, the story and just the overall family love that comes from the pages is amazing.

Chloe and Justin are opposites yet there is just something about them that works. You can feel their chemistry from the very beginning and it only continued to grow more and more as their story progressed. I loved their friendship and the flirting at the beginning. It was sweet and sometimes funny.

Justin and Chloe both came from broken pasts, but have both slowly overcome those. I felt for Chloe, especially as her story unraveled. I also felt for Justin, because I couldn’t imagine experiencing what he did at such a young age. I love watching them come together and be the love and support they both needed.

A Little Bit Wicked is a story full of love, laughs and plenty of family moments. A MUST READ!

From the very start Dirty Empire captures your attention and has you on the edge of your seat.

Hazel is trapped. She isn’t happy with her marriage; her husband isn’t the man the married. She needs an escape, enter Maverick. He’s dangerous, a businessman and a way out. Hazel and Maverick met under some unusual circumstances, but from the moment they met I could feel a connection and chemistry between them. Hazel does experience some trauma around the middle of the story and that was heartbreaking. You could feel her pain, you could feel Maverick’s pain.

Dirty Empire is a quick read that is full of action, heat and adventure.

Donna and Hendrix destroyed me in the best way possible. I loved these two. They are two broken people who find comfort in one another.

Donna has a loving family, a great group of friends, a future all planned out and she rules Fulton Academy. However, she is also a living another life. A life that no one else in her close circle knows about. I loved her, even though she frustrated me at times. You can’t help but love her and want her to be happy throughout the story. Hendrix is new to Fulton Academy. He isn’t there to make friends. He just wants to get good grades and fly under the radar, unfortunately that doesn’t happen the moment Donna and her crew spot him. Hendrix’s past is heartbreaking, I felt for him and can’t even begin to imagine what he must feel. He see’s something in Donna, he see’s glimpses of his old life and wants to help her, he wants to save her from herself.

I loved the chemistry and the tension between Donna and Hendrix from the start. You could feel the energy between them jumping off the pages. They were addicting and it was hard to turn away. They way that Hendrix tries to help Donna is amazing. You can see how caring he is and how much he has changed as a person from his old life.

Like You Hurt is an angst filled, emotional romance. This book will completely suck you in and you won’t be able to look away. A MUST READ!

Reese and Cooper have been best friends and inseparable since they were eight years old, even their parents are best friends. They have a bond, a connection and amazing chemistry. Though, Cooper doesn’t want to do anything to risk his friendship with Reese and Reese doesn’t think Cooper feels the same. They both struggle with their emotions, but will they be able to admit their feelings before it’s too late?

I loved Reese and Cooper’s friendship. It was fun, playful, sweet and adorable from the very start. There is chemistry between them and so many times I just wanted to yell at them to open their eyes, I mean even their friends tried to get them. I loved them but they frustrated me at times because of that. I loved how supportive Reese is of Cooper, she truly is his number one fan. She loves supporting him and it shows. I loved the entire group, all the guys plus Tessa. They added to the story and were just fun.

I probably spent the last 20% of this book in tears. It was slowly breaking my heart and I knew the closer I was getting towards the end that my heart wouldn’t be mended. Agony is a beautifully written best friends to I hope lovers (I’m crossing my fingers) romance. I can’t wait to see how Reese and Cooper’s story continues. This is a MUST READ!

Willa and Jackson. Those two stole my heart from the very beginning, then ripped it to shreds, but slowly mended all those broken little pieces.

I loved every single moment of this story. It starts when both Willa and Jackson are just six years old and part one progresses through their lives together until they are 18 and everything completely changes for them. Part two flash-forwards five years into the future and Willa and Jackson haven’t seen each other during that time period, until they are both unexpectedly back into each other’s lives. Their story and their relationship is complicated, messy, full of love and pain and heartbreak.

This book completely destroyed me. I wasn’t expecting to get so emotional over the story or so attached to these characters, but you can’t help it. You just fall in love with them and you want to root for them. Love is so much stronger than any bond and Willa and Jackson have proved just that. You’ll never forget your first love, especially when it is a love that completely consumes every single fiber of your being.

Ella Fields has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I can’t wait to read more from her in the future! Hearts and Thorns is a MUST READ and a great way to start the new year.
