It is hard to put into words how much I loved this book. It was fresh, different, beautiful and emotional. I was completely sucked into the story from the very beginning and couldn’t put it down. Warrior Blue touched me on so many different levels. It is one book that I am still thinking about a week later and will continue to think about as time goes on. Kelsey Kingsley is a new to me author and after this book I know it will not be the last book I read from her.

Blake had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He had such an enormous pressure that was placed on himself. He lived with the guilt of a traumatic childhood event that forever changed not only his life, but his twin and his parents lives. Audrey was unexpected in so many ways. She was the light that Blake needed. Despite everything she is his biggest cheerleader and provided so much support.

Warrior Blue led to so many uncontrollable tears. I just wanted to reach out and hug every single character in this book. I smiled. I fell in love with the world that Kelsey Kingsley created in the pages of this story. This is a romance novel, however, it is so much more than that. It will get you thinking and make you look at life with a different perspective.

If it was possible, I would give this book more than five stars, because it deserves so many more. Warrior Blue is a MUST READ and quickly became one of my TOP BOOKS of 2020.

This story was unexpected. It was emotional. It will break your heart in two. It will slowly mend your heart back together. I’ve learned to always make sure that I have a million boxes of tissues handy when I dive into one of Kaylee’s books and this one was no different. I ugly cried like there was no tomorrow while reading this.

I love the bond between this makeshift family. There is absolutely nothing this group wouldn’t do for one another and I think this story proved just that. The bond between this group so strong and together they can really make it through anything, no matter how difficult it can be.

Unexpected Bond is Seth and Mara’s story. Their bond was also very strong and tested many, many times. Mara grew up in the system, never really had any family, until she met Amelia in college and had her sweet baby girl, Finley. Seth grew up surrounded by his parents and a great group of friends. When they first meet Seth is smitten with Mara and they form a friendship, but when Mara gets a job at Beckett Construction, they take the plunge into a relationship. Their chemistry is there from the start and their bond is strong. I loved how easily Mara fit in with the group and how easily they all fell in love her and Finley.

This story is nothing like I expected. Some things occurred that I didn’t see coming and led to some of the most emotional moments of this story. Whether, you’ve read the previous books in the series or this is the first be prepared to ugly cry and don’t read this in public, people will look at you strange (trust me, it happened to me). This is another great addition to the series and another great book from Kaylee.

I have been waiting for Kent’s story since the beginning and boy does this not disappoint. Unexpected Odds had me swooning and crying all at the same time. Kent and Delaney’s story is an emotional, beautiful second chance that defies the unexpected odds.

Kent has always been the one out of the group that didn’t have another woman in the picture, at least not that we knew off. Yet, he had is best friends, their wives and all the children around him. He was surrounded by family and love regardless. Delaney was unexpected for me, I loved her so much. I felt for her and I was cheering her on when she stood up for herself.

The support and love Kent had for her was beautiful. These two had so much chemistry that only continued to grow throughout the story. The chemistry they have is so deep, their hearts know they are meant to be. They haven’t had an easy road and there has been so many lost years, but they found each other again. They get the second chance they both deserve more than anything.

I loved how easily the entire group accepted Delaney and her daughter, Kendrix, into their circle. They men were there, the women were there and the kids all accepted Kendrix into their little group. I am sad this is the final book in the series because I am going to miss all of these characters we have gotten to know over the years.

Unexpected Odds and the rest of the series is a MUST READ!

Sarah Robinson is a new to me author and after reading this book I completely fell in love with her writing. Misadventures in the Cage was nothing like I expected, it was so much more. This story was truly fantastic from the very start.

It was just supposed to be one night, no details, nothing but first names. Callan and Josie both had a night they would never forget. They never expected to see each other again, however, they were both in for a surprise when they run into each other again. Callan is the opponent of Josie’s brother in the championship MMA fight.

Callan and Josie had an instant connection. They were brother drawn to each other. I loved their initial meeting. Callan was attracted to Josie’s craziness; I mean the girl convinced him to bury a blow-up doll in the desert. They knew they shouldn’t be together; they knew they were “enemies” but they couldn’t stay away from each other.

Josie is unhappy with her job, but she feels obligated to help her brother and her family, but that isn’t her dream. She gave up her dream in support of her family. I loved that she finally stood up to them and fought for herself and what she wants to do in her life no matter what the risks are.

Misadventures in the Cage is a MUST READ and a great addition to the Misadventures family.

A Slice of Love is a fantastic second chance novella. I absolutely loved Frankie and Jonas and their relationship was super sweet.

Frankie and Jonas fell in love back in high school. They wrote to each other in notebooks that they passed back and forth. It was your typical high school love with so much potential to be so much more in the future. Unfortunately things didn’t work out, but will Frankie ever know the truth about what really happened?

Frankie and Jonas had a ton of chemistry. Everything felt so real about their relationship. It was sweet, a little messy at times but I loved every single moment of it. Their meeting again after all those years was super fun and the last thing they both expected.

I loved getting back into the Slice world, meeting new characters and some little cameos from previous characters. A Slice of Love is a MUST READ novella!

I’ve been waiting for Grant and his grumpy self since he was first introduced. This book was the most anticipated of the series for me. What was unexpected? Ana.

Ana is the girlfriend of one of the other guys on the team, Jason. Jason is far from a great catch to be nice about how I truly feel. Grant feels the need to help Ana after a party and gives her a ride. Little did he know how much that one ride would change him.

I felt for Ana. She went through a lot and I like that Kendall didn’t sugarcoat things, she didn’t brush over it quickly. Ana experienced what many women do and she is a survivor and a fighter. Grant is a grump, the team captain and he keeps to himself for the most part, but he is really just a big ol’ teddy bear. Ana and Grant had chemistry from the moment they met. Grant felt protective, he wanted to make sure she was safe.

Another unexpected character is the rookie on the team, Jordie. He felt like a little brother to Grant. They have a bond that neither of them shares with the other players on the team. I can’t wait to see where his story leads!

Wild for You is another great addition to the Hot Jocks series!

Wait for Me is hands down on my favorite Tia Louise novels to date. I completely fell in love with this story, the characters, just everything. It was emotional, heartbreaking and truly beautiful.

When I started reading this story I was thinking to myself that my emotions were safe, that I wouldn’t need a whole box of tissues to get through it. Boy was I sure wrong, I was about 45% into the story and BAM the floodgates just opened and the emotions started to really kick in for me. Of course, as my heart got completely shattered it was slowly mended back together in the most beautiful way.

The chemistry between Noel and Taron was there from the start. It was instant. It was consuming. I loved them. I loved that despite the distance they managed to find a way to make things work. Flash forward years later, things have changed in major ways for the both of them, but the chemistry was still there. Maybe even stronger than before.

This book has something for everything when it comes to tropes. Whether you love military romances, small town romances, second chance romances, friend’s little sister or all of the above this story will steal your heart and never give it back. A MUST READ!

Girl Gone Viral is the first book I’ve read from Alisha Rai and I thoroughly enjoyed this story from the very beginning. This story goes to show that dating in the modern age is not always the easiest or what you expect.

Katrina is the hopeless romantic. She is shy, works hard, but loves to do things for her friends. Though she also has her struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. I loved how that part was written in the story. It wasn’t overlooked or romanticized in any way. It was real and honest. Plus Katrina had a great group of friends who were supportive of her. She is a former model, but still keeps a bodyguard with her. A bodyguard that she is also crushing on. But who can blame her? Jas, like Katrina, is also going through his own struggles he is trying to overcome from past events.

This was definitely more of a slow burn romance. Going into the book I really didn’t know what to expect, but I enjoyed this story. The chemistry between the main characters was great and the secondary characters were great and added to the overall story.

Here with Me had me feeling EVERYTHING! This book brings the emotions, the romance, the steam, the swoon and the laughs.

Mindy and Sawyer have known each other since they were young children. They grew up near each other. Mindy is Sawyer’s little sisters’ best friend, the girl who was with him the moment his entire life changed. His anchor. Sawyer experienced something traumatic in the marines. Something he never got over but more pushed to the back of his mind, however, events like that don’t stay hidden for long. These two characters have experienced pain and loss both together and separately. They have relied on each other when times are rough, but are they both willing to admit how deep their true feelings go?

Mindy and Sawyer had INSANE amounts of chemistry from the moment the moment they were children. However, Sawyer always pushed Mindy away because of the age difference. However, he was only able to resist her for so long. As they got older the chemistry grew hotter. I loved how sweet their relationship is and how much they supported each other. Sawyer knew when a day was hard for Mindy and vice versa.

I completely fell in love with this story. I love every single character, the peach orchard and all the feelings I experienced while reading. Here with Me quickly become one of my favorite books from Tia. This is a MUST READ and a TOP READ of 2020.

She Loves Me is hands down the best book of the entire Harmony Pointe series. This book had me laughing and swooning from the very start. Harley and Piper are PERFECTION!

Piper Dalton is strong, sassy, stubborn and I couldn’t love her any more that I already do! Harley is sweet, strong, determined and how can you not love that man?! Plus, Jiggsy! The sweetest dog in the world. Harley is injured and needs someone to help him out, so who better than his friend Piper? Of course, when you’re constantly around someone feelings develop or come to the surface.
I was living for the banter between Harley and Piper. It was perfect and just felt so natural for them. Their friendship was fantastic and they had such a good flow with each other. Of course, there is no denying their INSANELY HOT chemistry. It was jumping off the pages.

Piper’s and Harley’s relationship with his nieces was sweet. I loved how much the cared for them, especially Piper. She wanted to help, of course, she needed some advice from her sisters. I love the sense of family and how much they want to help Piper.

She Loves Me is a MUST READ!
