Heartland is the seventh book in Sarina Bowen’s True North series. Through in a friends to lovers story and I am completely SOLD!
Dylan Shipley, is the youngest Shipley brother, and I have been DYING for his story. Chastity ran away from a cult and is still figuring out life outside of it. Dylan is her best friend. However, she has feelings for Dylan. She sees him as more than just a friend.
The more time they spend together and start to get closer to each other. Dylan finally realizes that there is more than just friendship between them. I loved their chemistry from the start. Though, Dylan’s obliviousness was a little frustrating. Chastity didn’t have a normal childhood, but she grew so much through this story. Their friendship was effortless.
Heartland gave us more of the Shipley family, plus Dylan’s roommate Rickie. I hope that there is more of him in the future because I ABSOLUTELY LOVED him. For Truth North lovers this story is perfect or if you haven’t read any of the other books, that is still fine. You can easily fall in love with Dylan and Chastity’s story.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED Carson, Milly and their story. If you thought Knox Gentry blew your socks off, wait until you meet Carson Stone.
The Dugout may be one of my favorite baseball romances. Carson is back after missing the draft due to an injury, but things just aren’t right with his swing. Enter Milly. She lives and breathes baseball. She always has. She knows how to help Carson, but will he listen to her?
Milly Potter. I have NEVER been more in love with a heroine. She isn’t like every other female. She is different, she is weird and she doesn’t mind hanging out with the guys. She is simple and super relatable. Milly is the kind of person I would want to be best friends with. She is sweet, hilarious ,smart and just pretty awesome. Carson Stone. I kind of expected him to be sort of a player and not super serious about anything but getting draft, which he was, but there was more to him. Carson had so many different layers and he was a pleasant surprise.
This story had everything. It had baseball, family, romance, swoon-worthy moments, laugh out loud moments, and moments where you wanted to knock some sense into Carson. I couldn’t put this down and loved every single thing about Carson and Milly’s story.

I really hate to say this, but Dallas has always been my favorite male of Blue Beech, but Rex Lane has just dethroned him. Rex is everything. He is insanely hot, a loyal friend, protective and smart.
Just Friends is AMAZING from the very start. Rex and Carolina’s story is addicting. I love everything about their friendship. They are two individuals who you wouldn’t expect to be friends, but they have a connection and it works for them. Their chemistry is off the charts (everyone can feel it) and their banter is on point. I could probably go on forever about how much I loved their friendship and the easy transition into something more.
Rex is afraid of commitment; he is afraid of ruining the best friendship he has ever had. He is fiercely protective of Carolina and when she is in trouble it shows just how far he is willing to go to protect her and to keep her safe.
Of course, with this being in Blue Beech there are many visits from main characters of other books in the series and I loved every single minute of it. The friendship and family feeling from all these characters is hands down the best thing ever.
Just Friends is an AMAZING best friends to lover’s romance, so if that is your jam then this is one book, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check out. It has the friendship, the love, the steam, some drama and amazing banter from the very beginning. This is a MUST READ book!

Cory Potter. The Boss. The one man whose story I have been waiting for. He does not disappoint.
Cory has been traded midseason to a team that doesn’t welcome him, fans who can’t help but boo him and a team he grew up disliking his entire life, the Rebels. The benefit is he is back home, close to his family, especially his baby sister Milly, however, with that comes his new brother in law and their group of friends, including his new teammate Jason. Natalie, who just so happens to be Jason’s sister, is in charged of a charity organization. When Cory first spots Natalie at an event he is drawn to her, however, there is one problem. She is married. Flash forward some months, Natalie is newly divorced, Cory still wants her and they are on vacation together with their friends and family.
I loved Cory and Natalie’s story. There was so much chemistry between the two of them and the tension between them will have you wanting more. They had such an easily flow about them and their banter had me laughing so many times. They both want each other, but neither of them is willing to give in. It was a little frustrating at times and I was yelling at my kindle for them to just give in, but it was worth the wait.
Of course, when they entire crew was together, I was dying of laughter, especially when it came to anything involving Jason. Their family and friends were supportive and pushed them together so many times.
The Trade is heartwarming, hilarious, a frustrating slow burn that is worth the wait and everything I love about Meghan Quinn’s books! A MUST READ!

Southern Chance is a small town romance full of angst, drama and second chances. I devoured this story. I was completely hooked from the very first page.
Kallie and Jacob were childhood sweethearts, they were it for each other and everyone in the town near it from the moment they were in diapers. They had their entire future planned out together. However, one event changed the course of their lives forever. Flash forward eight years and Kallie is back in the town she ran away from and facing her past.
I loved Kallie and Jacob. The sweet start of their relationship, the drama that ensued and seeing each other again after all those years. There was so much chemistry between them, even after eight years and heartbreak. Their story is truly beautiful and emotional. I wasn’t expecting it, but it just came out of nowhere for me. Kallie is strong, smart and slightly stubborn. For everything she did on her own and came out stronger. She took everything in stride. Jacob, I really wanted to hate him in the beginning but he won over my heart and by the end I was completely in love with him.
Southern Chance is one emotional rollercoaster that will have you feeling everything single emotional from the very beginning. A great introduction to an all new series from Natasha Madison and a MUST READ!

Trying to decide which Bergen Brother is your favorite is like trying to decide who your favorite child is, your favorite sibling or your favorite niece and nephew. You just can’t choose. I love Bren, I love Jasper, but there was just something about the mystery and the lack of information about Camden that made me know I would love him. Krista does not disappoint with Man Find. Camden and Cadence’s story is addictingly beautiful from the very first page.
An online forum led Mountain Mac to go on a mission back to Colorado, back to the place he ran from a decade ago, because he knew he needed to find his Mountain Daisy. But will the pain of being back in the one place where his entire world changed be too much for this Mountain Mac to be the man his Mountain Daisy deserves?
This book had me laughing (hello, squirrels), it had me swooning and it had me in tears. It was beautifully written and just a beautiful story about second chances. The chemistry between Camden and Cadence was effortless and so real. The bond between Camden and Bodhi was fantastic. I seriously, love Bodhi and his sweetness.
Of course, there is plenty of the whole Bergen crew we have all grown to know and love. And maybe a little surprise visit from a certain strudel.
If you haven’t met the Bergen Brother’s now is the chance. This book and this series are MUST READS!

I can’t get enough of the Wynn Family. This series is packed full of hockey goodness and the crazy Wynn family and I loved Harrison’s story.
Harrison and Arya were previously introduced in the series. Harrison being a Wynn and Arya being the yoga instructor. A hockey player doing yoga? Yeah, Harrison isn’t the most graceful when he first starts out.
There is an instant attraction for Harrison, he goes all in when it comes to Arya. There is something about her that he is drawn to, so when she finally gives in to his advances and he gets to see more of her, he only falls deeper. Arya is a little hesitant when it comes to Harrison. She is still struggling with what happened in her past, but she knows that she needs to try to date again and Harrison quickly shows that he isn’t a bad guy.
I loved the chemistry between Harrison and Arya from the start, but when they both are on the same page it is explosive. Arya, I wanted to hug the girl and I was cheering for her because she is a survivor. She moved half way across the country and started her life over after a horrible event. It isn’t easy to uproot your life, especially when you are still living in some fear. Harrison is hard working, he is out to prove that he isn’t just coasting and relying on his name when it comes to hockey.
If you’re a fan of hockey romances For the Win and the rest of the Wynn series is a MUST READ!

Hot Shot is the third and final book in the American Royalty series. It can be read as a complete standalone, but Drew’s brothers’ stories are pretty amazing, too.
Drew is the youngest Auprince brother, he is also the last single brother. His grandma Rosemary is not a fan of that and she continues on with her matchmaking ways to find Drew his perfect match, only he has found that woman all on his own.
Drew and Alejandra’s story was amazing from the start. They had so much chemistry between the two of them you could feel it coming off the pages, but it was still sweet. I loved that fate seemingly brought these two back together again after 9 months. That neither one of them forgot the other.
Drew and Alejandra’s romance was perfect and it was great to get more of grandma Rosemary (because you can’t help but love her), plus more from Drew’s brothers. This was the perfect closure to an amazing series and I’ll miss the Auprince brothers.

All I Ask took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I found myself not being able to put this book down. I was completely hooked on this story from the very first page.
Teagan and Derek were complete opposites who become the best of friends, that is until one day everything changed for the both of them. Now, thirteen years later they are back in the same town and not the same people they were when they last spoke, both of them single parents to teenage daughters. There were things left unsaid between them, pain and heartache. Will these two former best friends be able to mend their friendship and will the truth come out?
I loved Teagan. She is a strong woman and a great role model to her daughter. She hasn’t had it easy in her life. Her best friend left her, her baby daddy wanted nothing to do with her or their beautiful daughter, she works hard for minimum wage and protects her daughter from the horrible gossip of their small town. She does everything she can to make sure her daughter feels loved and feels like she has someone on her side no matter what. Derek’s life is completely different. He had a wife, a family, a great job. Everything he could have hoped in life minus his best friend. However, he moves back to his hometown to help his father and to have the support of his family.
There is so much chemistry between Teagan and Derek, even after all those years apart with zero contact. They still know so much about each other without a word being said. The only thing these two have in common anymore is their daughters, who just so happen to hate each other. However, they don’t let this deter them from moving forward with how they both feel. Everything about their relationship and their friendship felt real, nothing about this story felt fake or over romanticized for the sake of a good story.
All I Ask is a MUST READ and one of my TOP BOOKS of 2020. This is a story about a beautiful second chance with your first love.
