This is the first book I’ve read from Sagan Morrow and it is book number 6 in the series. I have not read any of the previous ones, but I still felt that I could easily follow the story and had a good sense on what was going on with the story. Though, it definitely left me curious about the secondary characters and wanting to know more about them.

I know this book isn’t going to be for everyone, but if you have an open mind and are willing to take the chance this story was great. I loved Helen. She wasn’t afraid to ask for what she wanted, even if it is different from the norm. I loved that this story no only focus’s on Helen and Ben and their relationship, but I love the relationship between Helen and her friends. They don’t judge. They are supportive. They all build each other up.

I am definitely curious about the upcoming books in this series to see where things are going to go. If you’re looking for something different than the norm when it comes to romance novels then Out of Control is definitely one to check out!

THIS BOOK. I don’t even know where to begin. I fell in love with this story instantly and the more I kept reading the more and more I fell in love with the characters and the story. Never Enough is a beautifully written, emotional story that will have you falling in love with Lincoln, Brock and Blayze from the very first moments you meet them.

Brock, who I just kept picturing Scott Eastwood as, loves bull rider. It is his passion. He has his eyes on the world championship, however, being away from his young son is starting to take its toll. When he meets Lincoln, things start to change for him and he starts to really think about the future. Is a future with his son and Lincoln worth giving up his career?

I LOVED the chemistry between Brock and Lincoln. I loved the relationship between Lincoln and Blayze. It was so sweet and adorable and just warmed my heart. Really the entire Shaw family plus Kaylee were amazing secondary characters and I am completely obsessed with Hamilton and I am already dying for more!

If you love bull riders, second chances, an adorable little boy and a strong heroine YOU WILL WANT to read this book. Kelly Elliott knocked it out of the park with this one!

Caisey Quinn is a new to me author and I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future. I loved this Holiday office romance. It was packed full of heat, emotion, and finding your family.

Hollis has been a dogwalker for Jonah X for the past years, but that is not what she signed up for. She wants to be his personal assistant but he won’t give her the time of day to prove herself. So she makes a list, a naughty list, with the help of her sister in law, Addi, to prove herself. Will Hollis’s list work and prove to Jonah that she isn’t just the sweet and innocent woman he sees her as?

I loved the shift these two experienced going from Boss/Employee to lovers. The tension and the build up to their relationship was entertaining and hot. Their chemistry was fantastic. Jonah, despite being an ex MMA fighter, there is so much more to him and he has a super sweet, caring and loving side.

The Naughty List is a MUST READ Holiday romance.

Perspective is a novella in the Love in LA series by Jenna Hartley. I completely devoured this story! It may have been short, but it was packed full of so much amazingness. However, if age gap romances and student/teacher romances aren’t your thing then this may not be for you.

Kate gave up her premed education to start art school, her real passion. She decides to model for an art class, which is how she meets Alexander and how he discovers his new muse. There is an instant attraction between the two of them and their chemistry just continues to burn hotter and hotter as their story continues.

They both played the student role and the teacher role at times throughout the story. I loved that they helped each other build confidence in themselves throughout the story. I wanted more of this story and of these characters, but it was a great introduction to a new series.

This is a book I’d recommend to anyone who is a fan of instant chemistry, age gaps and student/teacher romances.

This book is HANDS DOWN one of my FAVORITE books of 2019! Yes, it isn’t a book for everyone, but it is heartbreakingly beautiful.

Bea, oh how I loved her and wanted to give her the biggest hug in the world. She isn’t a victim, she is a survivor. The things she had to endure, the pain, the threats, the heartache. I found myself crying when it came to her, my heart broke for her. Bea is strong and she is a fighter. She had a hard road to happiness, but it is happiness that she truly deserves.

Liam, he was a sweet boy who turned into an even sweater man. From the moment he meant Bea he was there for her, he was her protector. When he finds out she is the shell of the girl he once knew he does everything he can to help her, even though he didn’t know the truth behind what had happened. He is always the one to keep her safe. I loved Liam so much. Even though he was a bigshot, he didn’t act that way. He is so down to earth.

S.M. Soto wrote a beautiful story that is full of hope, full of love, full of pain and loss. It will rip your heart into a million little pieces but it will also mend your heart. It will give you hope. It will show you that despite being broken you can find your happily ever after in life.

This isn’t a sweet story, but it is a love story. This is a story that I know I will read again in the future and I know no matter how many times I read it my heart will break and I will ugly cry. Have some tissues ready when you read this book because you WILL need them.

Just like the title this book was Unexpected in the best way possible. I loved that it was a different take on the single parent/nanny romance, plus throw in a reverse age gap. I was completely sucked in from the beginning.

Alexis and Preston had INSTANT chemistry, but there was the whole, he is my daughter’s nanny, he is young debated that Alexis experienced and I was sitting there yelling at my kindle telling her to just go for it! I loved that Preston wasn’t immature and I easily would forget that he was younger. Alexis is hardworking and she wants the best for her baby girl, which after learning her background makes so much sense and explains a lot about her.

Sophia, Hunter and Lauren were all amazing secondary characters and I hope there is more of them in the future, and of course more of Alexis and Preston.

If single parent/nanny and/or reverse age gap romances are your jam, then I HIGHLY recommend you read Unexpected!

You Can Have Manhattan is the perfect marriage of convenience/enemies to lovers romance. I was completely hooked on this story from the beginning. This was an emotional, slow burn, beautifully written story.

Sydney and Scott do not want to marry each other, however, they still go through with it for the business and for their passions. Scott tries to scare Sydney when she is on his ranch, but she is a fighter and makes the best of her situation. This only impresses him. She isn’t the woman he expected her to be.

I loved this book from the start. Sydney is an awesome heroine and the more the story went on the more and more I loved her. Scott, well I wanted to dislike him, but I couldn’t. Sure, he may have been a playboy in his past, but things have changed and he is no longer that person.

This story was truly fantastic and a MUST READ. I loved every single moment of this book from the tension, to the steam, to the heartbreaking moments, to the sweet moments and the adorable Romeo and Juliet.

This book. I felt like an emotional wreck after reading it. I loved getting the background of Valentina an Declan’s relationship, the good, the bad, the steamy and the ugly. Seriously, I am DYING for more of them after finishing this one up.

This is a pretty quick read and Nicole really packs a lot in there. Val and Dec had a whirlwind romance that took them all over the world. They met at a young age and everything moved at a fast past. It was love at first sight for them both, they knew what they wanted and didn’t care what anyone else had to say about it. It was them against the world.

I would HIGHLY recommend reading this one before reading Saddler’s Sacrifice which is coming out next month. Though, I haven’t read Saddler’s Sacrifice yet, I have a feeling this one provides a lot of much needed information about their past and their relationship with each other.

Get ready to travel the world with this steamy, emotional rollercoaster!

The Christmas Pact is a quick listen, office holiday novella. Mixed e-mails lead to a fake relationship with the potential of so much more. I just wish that this story was longer, I wanted more of Kennedy and Riley.

Riley Kennedy and Kennedy Riley both work for the same publishing company, just in different offices. It’s not uncommon for their e-mails to get mixed up. These two had a slow build up for chemistry and I found Kennedy to be frustrating at times (I just wanted him to stop getting inside of his own head and see what was right in front of him), but it also makes sense why he does what he does. I loved Riley and her love for Christmas. On a personal level, I definitely could relate to her when it came to her family.

This was a super short listen, but Sebastian York and Andi Arndt did an amazing job with the narration. If you’re looking for a short, sweet, holiday romance to listen to this is definitely one to check out.
