THIS BOOK. I have NO words for how I feel. Truly Mine should come with a warning for all the angst, the slow burn and EVERY SINGLE EMOTION you will experience while reading.

Mason and Sophie’s story is truly a heat breaking, emotional story. Their entire relationship is full of heartbreaking moments. Mason’s past shattered my heart. The pain and guilt he experienced. There are no words. Sophie’s current relationship was something that really struck me on a personal level. In a way I felt connected to her, I could feel her pain, I could feel where she was coming from at times.

I love that we got some more of Hunter and Lennon’s life together, there was more Liam and Maddie (who I absolutely love) and the group as a whole. I love the sisterly love and bond between the girls and the bromance between the guys. There were a few times I laughed at the banter between Liam, Mason, and Hunter. Plus, the stuff that Maddie says sometimes. It added some lightness to an emotional story.

This review is so difficult to write. This is just one duet you will have to read. It deals with some tough topics, but it’s not overlooked or glossed over, it’s not told in a way that glamorizes it. It is told in a fashion that shows the truth, the real struggle, the pain, the emotion. Kennedy Fox do an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING job at telling Sophie’s story and her survival.

Truly Mine will wreck you completely, so be prepared for one wild ride. I can’t wait for Truly Yours and the conclusion to Mason and Sophie’s duet.

You MUST READ The Initiation before reading The Obsession, with that being side we pick up right where we left Marist and Royce off.

I am literally obsessed with this series so far. I get completely sucked into the world that Nikki Sloane has created and the characters she has written. There is so much suspense, twists and turns, drama, and steamy. I LOVE the continued theme of Greek mythology and that more of it is worked in. It adds something different and unique to the story compared to other romance novels out there now.

I was dying to read this book after the ending of The Initiation. I HATED Royce for what he did, I mean, the man claimed to truly want Marist and then he does that?! But he is up to something and it is all part of his plan. However, he left Marist in the hands of his father.

The things Macalister does to Marist, the way he plays her, exudes his dominance on her frustrates me, but what frustrates me more is the fact of how easily she lets it happen and the one time Royce witnesses it, he leaves. Doesn’t step in but just leaves! I was so angry.

But despite a lot of my dislike towards Macalister and the dumb stuff that Marist tends to do and the lack of Royce really fighting for his girl so far I LOVED this story. I am completely sucked into the mystery of it all and the drama. I can’t wait to see where this goes and finally get answers to all the questions that have been unanswered.

Best Fake Fiancé is a fun single father/fake engagement/best friends to lovers romance. Daniel Loveless is an overprotective father who would do anything to keep his daughter, so when his baby mama threatens to get full custody the first thing he thinks of is to tell the judge he is engaged. Not just engaged, but to his best friend.

I loved Daniel and Charlie’s relationship. These two were best friends who literally did everything together, spent a lot of their free time together, but they never crossed the friendship line. Charlie would do anything to help her best friend and his seven year old daughter. These two also had great chemistry and having the background of friendship definitely helped their relationship.

Rusty, sweet Rusty. That little girl stole the show. She was super sweet, smart, caring and I just loved her. The love Daniel has for his daughter is beautiful, but sometimes he can be little too protective of her and it definitely shows a few times throughout the story. I love how much Charlie cares for her as well. She is truly the mother figure in her life and it was sweet.

This book was super enjoyable and I loved not only Daniel, Charlie and Rusty but the entire Loveless family plus Charlie’s sister. They added a lot to the story and I love how supportive they are of one another.

Best Fake Fiancé is a MUST READ and I can’t wait for more of the Loveless family in the future.

It’s taken me a few days to actually write this review after finishing the book. I still don’t know what to say about this book. It is different from other books I have read recently, which is what caught my attention in the first place. This book is definitely not for everyone, but if you’re willing to open your mind to the lifestyles of the rich and the shameless it is one to check out.

Aubrey, there was just something about her. I had such a difficult time connecting to her character and I can’t pinpoint why. She just seemed rather immature at times, but at the same time she had to grow up quickly with losing her parents at a young age and now she is the one going to school full time and working two jobs to take care of her grammy.

I do love the friendship/sister bond between Aubrey and Natalie. Those two girls are thick as thieves and have the type of friendship that everyone would want or want to be a part of. Some of my favorite scenes and lines throughout the book came from their interactions together.

James, well he is one smooth talking, alpha, silver fox and you can’t help but love him. His is high profile lawyer, gentleman and one amazing dirty talker. There is no denying the instant chemistry between him and Aubrey. I seriously thought my kindle would catch fire with the heat between the two of them. James is forbidden. He is a client and he is a married man. There could never really be anything between them. But will Aubrey be able to stay away?

If you’re looking for a super steamy, slightly kinky, age gap romance this is definitely one to check out!

I Hate You is a FANTASTIC new standalone from Ilsa Madden-Mills. I completely fell in love with this story. It is full of romance, steamy, a hilarious parrot, and so much more. This book is a MUST READ.

Charisma is my favorite type of heroine. She is smart and sassy! I loved that girl from the start. Not only is she smart and sassy, but she is also strong and not afraid to speak her mind and to stand out in the crowd. I love that she isn’t the typical sorority girl. She has rules. No kissing. After being played by a girl in high school she hasn’t let anyone close since. But will the star football player be able to knock down her walls?

Blaze is so much more than a cocky jock. The man has a heart of gold, he has experienced pain and loss and it is safer to close himself off and focus on one thing. Football. He was afraid of anyone getting to close, especially Charisma, so he let her go. Let her hate him for ending things.

I LOVED these two. Charisma and Blaze’s chemistry is off the charts. I loved their banter, their friendship, and the way they supported one another. Of course, it wasn’t an easy ride but it was beautiful, heartbreaking and everything I could have ever hoped for.

This book had me laughing, crying, swooning and everything inbetween. It is an AMAZING story and one that I know I will be rereading again in the future.

Leo will do anything to help out his best friend, Brody. Including pretending to be the fake fiancé of his little sister, Sam. Little does he know how much Sam has changed over the years. Will he be able to keep his promise to his friend?

I love Sam and Leo’s story. They were adorable together, I loved their history together. I loved watching him try not to fall for Sam, all while pretending to be engaged to her. The entire wedding weekend was so much fun to read. Their chemistry and their banter together was great. The little tidbits we got from characters of the previous books in this series was also a perfect addition.

This story is strictly from Leo’s POV and at times I wish we got some of Sam’s perspective to what was going on in the story and with their fake relationship.

This entire series is fantastic. These stories are on the shorter side but are packing the romance and the steam. Definitely ones to check out!

This isn’t my first read from the author, but it is differently from anything I’ve ever read from her and I LOVED it! A sexy cowboy, who is also a former pro baseball player? SIGN ME UP!

Jessica is a former divorce attorney who is running away after catching her fiancé cheating on her, which is how she ends up finding a little cottage in the middle of nowhere in Sweetwater, Texas. What she doesn’t expect to find is a former baseball player turned cowboy and his super amazing grammy. Jason is trying to save his parents ranch and making sure his granny is taken care of, so when he has a run in with Jessica his world is turned upside down.

I loved the banter between Jason and Jessica. They definitely got off on the wrong boot, but they more time they spent together they started to form a friendship. Jason was possessive of Jessica, he wanted to keep her away from the rest of the workers on the ranch, of course that was due past relationships. The chemistry between them was something that had to build for me. The more time they spent together the hotter their chemistry was.

Lets talk about Granny. She was amazing! She was a fighter. The love she had for her grandson, for the ranch and everyone involved was fantastic. I LOVE the bond she formed with Jessica. Those two literally became instant best friends.

If you love cowboy romances this is a MUST READ!

I really enjoyed this book, though at times I found the plot to be very similar to some other books I have recently read. Despite that, this was still a great romance story and I enjoyed every single character in this story.

Scarlett is a girl who wanted to escape her small town and found that with a music career, however, after 12 years she returns back home to watch over her father. What she doesn’t expect is the less than warm welcome from her former childhood best friend, Tucker. Tucker is now a cop, a single father and living right next to Scarlett’s father. He’s had a crush on her since they were kids, but then she left without a word. Will these two former best friends be able to mend their relationship?

I loved the chemistry between Scarlett and Tucker, at least once Tucker got over Scarlett popping back into his life. But the relationship between Scarlett and Tucker’s daughter, Chloe was hands down the best. They instantly bonded with each other and connected on so many levels. It was super sweet. Tucker’s relationship with his daughter was great, he loved his baby girl more than anything.

This is the perfect book for anyone who loves a Rockstar romance meets friends to lovers.

I was super excited when I found out that Lincoln was getting a book. If you have read any of the previous Shaking Up series books there was mention of him throughout, but he was always a bit of a mystery. I mean, who wouldn’t be curious about Armstrong’s brother?

I loved loved loved Wren. How can you not love a woman who is willing to put Armstrong in his place. She is a genius when it comes to PR. So when Lincoln returns to town and has to take over as CEO for Moorehead Media she is hired to help his image and help him with the PR side of things, as Lincoln likes to call her, his babysister. Lincoln was a mystery but the more and more we got to know about him the more I LOVED him. He is selfless, he is the complete opposite of anyone in his family. I loved the relationship he has with Griffin. Despite being cousins, they are more brothers.

I loved the banter and chemistry between Lincoln and Wren. It was instant and truly got better throughout the story. I loved how caring Lincoln could be and possessive, especially when it came to keeping Armstrong away from Wren. The pop ups from all the previous characters was great and I’d love to have seen a girls night with Ruby, Amalie and Wren. Armstrong, he is a man I love to hate. Compared to the other books, we got the most of him in this one. The man is a complete train wreck. Am I the only one hoping that Helena writes him a book?!

For any fans of the Shaking Up series this a MUST READ or really anyone looking for a laugh out loud romance.
