Obsessed picks up right where Twisted left off. This is not a standalone and you MUST read book 1 before starting this one.

Kader and Laurel’s story continues and becomes even more of a tangled web. Some questions were answered, but many more questions also came up. This story has weaved a web that I can’t want to untangle. Someone is after Laurel’s formula, but who? Who hired Kader to kill her? What is next for Laurel and Kader?

This book sucked me in. I couldn’t put it down, I had to know what was going to happen next. I loved that Laurel was standing up more to Kader and not letting him just use her. Of course, this book not only had suspense and drama, it was HOT. The chemistry between Kader and Laurel was hotter than ever!

We got some insight into Laurel’s background and how her past somewhat intertwined with Mason and his sisters. More importantly, we got to know what happened to Kader, we got to learn so much more about his back story and we are starting to understanding what made him the man he is today.

Of course, like Twisted, Obsessed also ended on a major cliffhanger. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor and was willing the next book to magically appear!

I can’t wait to see what is in store of Kader and Laurel in Bound.

Tangle is book 2 in the Dogwood Lane series. This is Haley, who you may remember as Dane’s cousin if you read Tumble and Trevor.

Haley has had horrible luck when it comes to dating, so she is done with it, she is taking a break. Trevor doesn’t believe in love. Everyone around him has been in a relationship that hasn’t worked out. So what happens when promises are written on napkins and a new friendship forms?

Haley, she was one sassy little firecracker and I LOVED that about her. She wasn’t afraid to give what she got, even if it was to a complete stranger. The banter between her and Trevor was fantastic and I loved the chemistry between the two of them. Trevor, the doughnut thief, was a man all about one-night stands. He didn’t do relationships, especially with his past and the relationships he has seen around him.

This book had me laughing, it was sweet, and it will leave you smiling. I love the little bits and pieces of Dane and Neely and glimpses into more of the Dogwood Lane characters. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Penn. I think that man may finally meet his match.

Tangle a perfect small town romance and a MUST READ for the summer!

Black Sheep completely addicting. I devoured this book in one sitting.

Cannon Freeman is the illegitimate son of the head of the Casso crime family, however, he really doesn’t want anything to do with that life. Drew Carson is a woman looking for answers on what really happened to her father.

This story was full of drama, suspense, romance and a TON of secrets. There was an instant connection and undeniable chemistry between Cannon and Drew. Drew wanted to take the man and his family down, but the she couldn’t fight her attraction to him either. Cannon wanted to protect Drew from his father but he also couldn’t fight his attraction to her.

This story is fast paced, it is thrilling and it is HOT. I love Drew, she is slightly crazy for willing to get involved with the Mafia, but a total badass at the same time. She isn’t afraid, she is taking risks despite her true profession. Cannon, well what isn’t there to love about the man? Other you just hope he doesn’t turn out to be like his father, which from what we have know about him he really isn’t and wants nothing to do with his lifestyle.

Holy cliffhanger though! I need the next book like I need air! I can’t wait to see where Cannon and Drew’s story goes and to get answers to all those unanswered questions.

Olivia Peters is a new to me author and this is her debut novel.

Brook’s best friend Maddi stands by her side through all the drama, the secrets and the pain she goes through in her relationships and with her parents. Maddi also has what people think is the perfect life and relationship, but it’s not. These two understand each other on so many levels and truly are the perfect pair of best friends.

Now, Brook and Jake. I didn’t like them together from the start. I didn’t feel any chemistry between them or any connection. They were truly the makings of a marriage of convenience, but with no love and no chance of falling in love. Plus, his best friend Noah was also a major jerk.

Brooklyn and Trevor had all the chemistry that Brook and Jake lacked. It was explosive from the very start and these two didn’t hold back when it came to each other. Brooklyn knows she is cheating, but after what Jake did, I almost feel like she justifies her actions when it comes to Trevor.

There is plenty of drama, steaminess and mystery throughout the story that it completely sucks you in. Will Brooklyn follow her heart or will she stick with what is expected of her?

A fantastic debut novel and completely worth the read!

This isn’t my first book from Kayley Loring, but it was my first audiobook.

Chase and Aimee met in a bar and it was an instant connection, but Chase is a good man and when his business partner and best friend, Keaton shows up and also takes immediate interest in Aimee, he backs away. What happens with Chase and Aimee get their night together?

Chase and Aimee have chemistry that is through the roof and kindle melting HOT! Seriously, it has been a while since I’ve read story about two characters who have such strong chemistry right off the bat. I loved that Aimee is smart and hardworking and not just some pushover heroine. Chase is seriously sexy. Long hair, tattoos, that bad boy vibe. Plus, he is a great person. I mean, his worry over hurting his best friend is the main thing that kept him away from the girl of his dreams.

I did listen to this book on audible and absolutely loved it. The pacing of the story was great, the narrators did a great job at bringing the story of Chase and Aimee to life. Plus, Teddy Hamilton’s voice is pure perfection and he was the perfect Chase.

This is a MUST READ from Kayley and a story that I would highly recommend listening to as well.

Claire Raye are new to me authors and I am completely hooked on their stories.

Beck left Rockport Beach ten years ago, leaving behind the girl he loved more than anything and his family. Kelsey Walters was completely heartbroken when Beck left, but ten years later she finds herself with a stalker and her ex lover and the man she is still in love with back in her life.

This book had everything. It is a small town romance, a second chance romance, drama, suspense, and LOADS of steaminess!! I was completely hooked and wanted to know about Beck and Kelsey’s relationship, but also with all the drama from her stalker.

Despite not seeing each other for ten years the chemistry between Beck and Kels never seemed to lose steam. Kelsey was hurt and left broken hearted in the past, so she was afraid to get close to him again, especially knowing that he had a job back in Boston that he would eventually go back to.

I loved Beck and Kelsey, but I also loved their two best friends, Erin and Ryan and I CANNOT WAIT for their story!

This is a MUST READ book and one I’d highly recommend to anyone. Though it is the first in a series, it can be read as a complete standalone.

Caleb, Caleb, Caleb. I had so many different emotions about this man. I wasn’t a fan of him in the beginning, he was a major jerk. Not just to Quinn but to everyone in his life. Of course, he does begin to redeem himself and you learn that the person everyone in Hollywood see’s isn’t the real Caleb Evanstan. Caleb does have a little slip up and I started not to like him again. By the end of the book I was completely in love with Caleb though.

Quinn. This woman. She instantly become one of my favorite heroines EVER! I love her feistiness. I love that she isn’t afraid to put Caleb in his place from the very first moment she met him. Not only is she completely awesome at her job, but she is just a strong woman overall. I love that she isn’t also a stereotypical heroine in romance books (blonde, skinny, size 2). She is relatable.

I will admit that I read book 2, The Playboy, first and I really wanted to know about Caleb and Quinn. This book was fantastic and each book can be read as a standalone, but their timelines to overlap so it was fantastic to see some scenes from different character point of views.

Cara Wade was a new to me author and has now quickly become one of my favorites! I can’t wait to read more of this series and more of her books in the future.

This is the second book in the Rockport Beach series and if you’ve read the first book you’ve already been introduced to Kelsey’s best friend, Erin, and Beck’s former partner in Boston, Ryan.

Erin has been running from her past since she was 18. New home, new identity and never seeing her family again. That is until the past starts to find her again. Can she trust Ryan enough to tell him the truth and possible put his life in danger?

Erin and Ryan have INSANE chemistry. Everything about their relationship is EXPLOSIVE! Ryan’s protectiveness over Erin is seriously swoon-worthy. I mean, who wouldn’t love a hot detective boyfriend?! You can feel his love and passion for her through the pages.

Ryan’s job and Erin’s past begin to cross paths but they still continue to keep secrets from one another. There is so much drama ad suspense throughout this story that I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put it down. I was completely hooked and had to know what was going to happen next.

Finding Home With You is the perfect mix of steaminess, suspense, drama, and romance. A must read!

I have been waiting for Finn’s story since the very beginning! Finn is Rockport Beach’s chief of police and the towns hottest bachelor. The man has absolutely ZERO interest in a relationship, that is until he has a random hook up in the bathroom of the pub with a beautiful stranger.

We were first introduced to Sarah in book two, she is Ryan’s youngest sister. She is in town visiting Erin and Ryan and decides to stay awhile, especially after another run in with Finn. Finn instantly fell for Sarah and Sarah instantly fell for Finn. These two had amazing chemistry both in and out of the bedroom.

Unlike the other books in this series the drama comes from both sides. Sarah has a creepy boss at her new job, and I mean the name is CREEPY on a whole new level. Finn has some drama with a girl he hooked up with 16 years ago. Given Sarah’s brother, the girl can definitely defend herself and she does just that a few times throughout the story.

Like the previous books in the series this one completely sucked me in. The plot has so many twists and turns you want to know what is going to happen next. This story was HOT, suspenseful, swoon-worthy and a fantastic read!

Tristan and Isabel’s story continues in Paris, though it isn’t all full of love and light. There is danger and death. They continue to dive deeper and deeper into the Company and uncovering more secrets along the way.

After the events in Paris, Tristan and Isabel decide it is time to return back home to Washington, DC. However, things don’t go smoothly when they arrive.

This story continues to amaze me. It is fully of such much suspense, twist and turns. You think the story is going to go one way, but it takes a completely different direction. Meredith Wild continues to captivate your attention throughout this series.

Tristan and Isabel’s relationship with each other has continued to grow as they dive deeper into their mission. I can’t wait to see where this story is going to go and if they will even truly uncover all the secrets of the Company.
