Zoe has just been dumped and wants a one night stand with the first man she can find. She finds one, they have some fun and she leaves. No names exchanged, no contact information exchanged. She’s in for a surprise when the one night stand he never thought she would see again is her new boss.

I love an office romance story and this one was enjoyable. It was funny and it was steamy. I loved Zoe. She was smart, she made a name for herself and would stand up for what she believes in. I love a strong heroine and Zoe is just that. Liam, well he is HOT. He is sweet and he is also passionate in everything he does. Him and Zoe are a perfect match, their chemistry is off the charts.

Anyone else want to be friends with Zoe and her girls?!? Seriously, they are all badass woman.

This was a fairly quick read, but one that any would enjoy. If you are new to J.D. Hawkins this would be a great one to start at, if you aren’t new then just sit back and enjoy!

If you’ve read Lines you have been introduced to Andrew and Jeanette. I have been looking forward to their story since we first met them. I knew there was something more to them, something that pointed to the way the both acted, but this was not what I even expected, it was so much more.

Andrew is a womanizer and Jeanette is known as the ice queen. Of course, Andrew enjoys annoying her but there is also an attraction between the two. Jeanette is fighting her attraction to Andrew, she knows she should go to him, but she can’t help it. What happens when secrets come out and these two give into each other?

I was not expecting this story. I knew that each of their back stories would be deep and emotional, but they were nothing like I expected. It was a great surprise. I loved this story. It was emotional, it was sweet, and it was steamy. Andrew is a character you can’t help but hate, but by the end of this I was swooning over him.

I enjoyed this story so much more than Lines. It was more emotional, it was hotter, and I felt like we got to know the characters better. Plus, the banter between Andrew and Jeanette was fantastic.

I can’t wait for book 3 to come out!

This story quickly become one of my favorite books of 2019. It was so breathtakingly beautiful. It was heartbreaking, it was erotic, it was unlike anything I’ve ever read before.

When I started this story, I had no idea what it was truly about, even from reading the blurb, I still wasn’t too sure of what I was getting into. This story isn’t for everyone, it is beyond erotic, it is full of mysteries, full of angst and emotion and so much more.

There is a content warning, so be prepared. Read it. It could save you some time or maybe make you way more curious. It is one wild ride you’ll never want to end.

I was hooked from the start. There are so many plot twists that it keeps you guessing. You think one thing is going to happen, but then the complete opposite happens. The chemistry between the characters is mind blowing. They all have a special connection, they are all connected. The magic and mystery of Thornchapel is captivating. This is a true page turn and will have you rooting for every single character.

I’ve fallen in love with Thornchapel, with Rebecca and Delphine, with Poe, Saint, and Auden, with Becket. I can’t wait for book two in this series.

I have been waiting for Heather and Wyatt’s story since they were first introduced in Stay, previously titled Fetch. I instantly fell in love with Heather’s personality and Wyatt’s cluelessness.

Served was everything I could have ever wanted in more. If something could go wrong it did, if someone could stop them from finally taking the plunge **cough cough Cole**. It was truly like watching a reality tv show but so much better and way more steamy.

There is no denying that Wyatt and Heather and massive amounts of chemistry and massive amounts of sexual tension. When they FINALLY have the chance to be together it was explosive and I may have wanted to stand up and applaud them. It was a long and crazy road.

Heather and Wyatt are both insecure who are they are, they didn’t feel like they were good enough for the other person. Wyatt constantly would be hot and cold with Heather. I didn’t blame the girl for going absolutely mad half the time when it came to that man. Yes, this story was extremely HOT, but it was sweet and it was loving. Pure PERFECTION! I would give this story a million stars if I could.

This story was perfect. It was everything I could have wanted when it came to Heather and Wyatt and I hope we get to see more of all these characters in the future, especially after that ending.

Connor and Faith have been best friends since meeting at summer camp as children. No matter what Connor has always been there for Faith and Faith has always been there for Connor. I truly loved their story.

Connor is a bad boy with a sweet side, especially when it came to Faith. Faith is a sweet librarian who works for Connor’s family. These two have had feelings for each other for years but neither one of them was willing to admit it. Though, Connor was a little more upfront about it throughout their friendship, Faith just didn’t think he was being serious and always seemed to brush it off.

I loved their chemistry. I loved how they stayed true to each other, especially when Connor’s family would try and get in their way and threaten their relationship.

If you are looking for a quick best friends to romance book this is definitely one to pick up!

Ella Fields is a new to me author, but the blurb really got my attention. Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I was completely sucked into the story.

Dash doesn’t care about anyone but himself, minus his life long best friend Peggy. He would do anything for her, even if that means scaring every single boy in their school away from her. Things start to change right before their senior year. Peggy is asked on a date, but she really has no experience so what would any good friend do? Dash offered to help her out, especially when it came to the kissing. When lines are crossed can they survive?

This story was a lot more raw and emotional than I expected. The relationship between Dash and Peggy was raw and real. They didn’t have any easy bath. This story was filled with jealously, betrayal, drama, pain and love. The banter between Dash and Peggy was that of true friends and I loved seeing how it changed along with their relationship.

Not only were Dash and Peggy enjoyable characters but so were all the secondary characters and they all had their own sets of drama to deal with.

I felt the good, the bad, and the ugly along with the characters while reading this. I was swooning hardcore at points when it came to Dash and other times I was super frustrated with both him and Peggy. This story broke me, but it also put me back together again.

Night Games by T.K. Leigh

Chloe is one of Evie’s best friends from Dating Games. She is on Vegas for a bachelorette party where she runs into a mysterious man several times throughout her time there. There was some sort of a connection between the two, but she didn’t even both to get his name or give him hers because she was going to return home to New York and never see the man again, so she thought.

A cancelled flight and an overbooked redeye causes Chloe and her childhood friend Izzy to spend another night in Vegas, this time in a mansion that Izzy’s former fiancés little brother is house sitting with his college friend. That friend also happens to be the mystery man. So what happens when the lights go out in Vegas? Will things still be the same when the power comes back?

I loved this story. The chemistry between Chloe and Lincoln was scorching. There was an instant connection between the two of them and there was no denying that when they finally gave into it things would be explosive. If there wasn’t already a blackout I would think that they were the cause of it. I loved going back into the Dating Games world and that we got to learn a little more about Evie’s friend Chloe. This was one quick, steamy and fun read!

Dirty Thoughts by C.A. Harms

Hallie is in Vegas for a girls trip. Levi is in Vegas to celebrate his brothers bachelor party, so what happens when two former “friends” run into each other after years apart?

I love this story. It was a quick, friends to romance story. Hallie used to tutor Levi in high school and had a massive crush him full of dirty thoughts. Her friends loved to share that fact with Levi. Levi had a girlfriend all throughout high school and most of college and never looked at Hallie in that light, he always just considered her to be friend.

I loved that when they finally met again and recognized each other that they had instant chemistry that was explosive. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other and it didn’t matter who was around. Of course, both their groups of friends were absolutely hilarious. I just wish we got more. I truly wanted more Hallie and Levi and their friends.

If you’ve read the Pepper Jones series you have been introduced to Ryan and I am SO glad that we got to learn more about him. Though, if you haven’t read Pepper Jones you can still read this book and be perfectly okay and know what is going on.

Ryan is a world famous long distance runner, Olympic caliber good. Indigo Adams is new to the running scene and definitely made a lot of great first impressions at her first event. She really got the attention of Ryan and he knew there was something special about her.

I loved the instant connection Ryan felt towards Indy. Of course, Indy has had a major crush on Ryan for years, but who didn’t in the running world. I loved Indy, she was so real and down to earth. Of course, despite their connection their relationship was full of ups and downs. They had to learn to navigate their roles as coach/athlete and boyfriend/girlfriend, but also with Indy’s past with her ex.

This was a sweet story and it slightly broke my heart when it came to Indy’s background and what her jerk of an ex did to her. Though, Ryan more than makes up for it by just being himself. I enjoyed this book and I truly hope we get to see more of these characters in the future.

If you’ve read Welcome to Your Life, Ways to Go, of From This Moment you’ve already been introduced to Amelia and Randall. Amelia is Tonya’s cousin and Randall is one of Jake’s friends. Though, if you haven’t read any of the other books in the series you can still enjoy Shoot Down the Stars and not be confused.

Amelia needed to escape her hometown after experiencing heartbreak and ridicule from people she thought were her friends, so moving in with her aunt and uncle is the perfect escape. She can spend time with her family and not have to avoid everyone. She wasn’t looking for anything, but sometimes things don’t always work out how you want.

Randall has had is heartbroken but his own mother. She walked out on him and his father as a child and left Randall to drop out of college and be the parent to his alcoholic father. This isn’t the life he imagined for himself, but when he see’s a girl he used to spend time with as a child things might be changing for him.

I LOVED Amelia and Randall. They were two broken people who help one another heal. While all their friends were pairing off they were always the third wheels, so why not form a friendship, of course that friendship quickly grew into so much more. They had instant chemistry with one another and truly were perfect.

My heart broke for Randall and everything he had to deal with when it came to his father and how he acted by him at times. I also felt for Amelia when it came to how she was treated by her “ex” and her “friends” back home and the reasons for leaving. Both of them struggled when it came to their relationship with each other, but they had to learn to trust and learn that they can’t let what happened in the pasts affect their future together.

Whether you’ve read any of the other books in the series or not this one is a MUST READ. It is beautifully written and such a sweet love story.

I love second chance romances and I love anything that Kennedy Fox writes! Forever Mine is a short, sweet, and steamy second chance romance.

Hayden in Savannah started dating as children and of course, both ended up going to two separate colleges and long distance relationships don’t always work it. Ten years later, Hayden and Savannah are in the same place and see each other. All the chemistry is still there between them, but will their hearts be able to handle a second chance?

This story was originally released in Kennedy Fox’s newsletter and I’m glad it was released as novella as well, because it is just that good. The bonus epilogue was a GREAT addition to the story. Plus, you get a little introduction Hunter, who is Hayden’s brother, and the hero in Baby Mine and Baby Yours.

Forever Mine is a GREAT second chance romance and one that I’d highly recommend reading!
