Stupid Smart is book three in the Jaded series and is the story of Clara Jade and Liam Langford. This is a hilarious enemies to lovers romantic comedy.
The chemistry between Clara and Liam in undeniable, maybe even to themselves at times. Their banter back and forth had me laughing, plus Liam always showing up and ruining Clara’s dates.
I’ve read the previous books and was different intrigued by these two, so I was happy to be able to finally weird their story and learn more about them. This book did not disappoint. It was a little of a slow burn and I was impatient and found myself yelling at Clara and Liam to just hook up already, because I knew once it happened it would be off the charts.
Clara did get slightly annoying at times with her need for love but at the same time it is hard to fault the girl because she just wants what every girl wants. Liam is definitely that stereotypical man whore, but he does have a sweet, romantic, soft side to his personality that is capable of so much more.
I found myself wanting more to the story and history of Clara’s sister and Liam’s coworker, so I do hope that they get a story in the future.

I love all the West brothers and I was super excited for Pearson’s story because he always seemed to mysterious. I knew it was going to be deep and intense, and this book did not disappoint. I couldn’t put it down.
Pearson is a lawyer, he is under A LOT of pressure until one moment changes his life and he wants to become a better man. Rose has to help the last person she wants to see, but like Pearson, it may be the best thing to ever happen to her.
Pearson, oh Pearson, this man is seriously swoon-worthy despite his struggles, but those just made him real. It made him relatable as a character. Rose, my heart broke for her and continued to break for her the more we learned about her throughout the story.
This story is intense and it brings out a lot of emotions in you. It is sexy, it does have some laughs (Rose’s daughter Montana is seriously the sweetest thing on this planet), it will break you heart and mend it all over again. Plus, I love that we got moments with the whole West family again. I absolutely love this group!
After reading the epilogue I can’t wait to see what happens next!!

If you’ve read From Smoke to Flames you have met Reese and some of the secondary characters. However, this book is a standalone and it is 100% worth the read.
Reese and Skylar’s stories were beautiful, heartbreaking, sexy and emotional. It was so hard not to feel every ounce of pain these two characters felt and feel their struggles through loss and addiction. Life through them a lot of curveballs, but those curveballs also ended up bring these two together. They had instant chemistry. They got each other, they knew that they could be one to help the other through life.
This story blew my mind and A.M. Hargrove doesn’t disappoint with this story. This book does feature some series subjects and some may be triggers to people, but this book is raw, it is emotional but it is worth the read. If you want a light romance this isn’t one for you, don’t go into this expecting that.
I couldn’t put this story down. I was hooked from the very beginning. If I could rate this book more than 5 stars I absolutely would.

Milly is in New York starting over after her divorce. She wasn’t looking for love after her ex-husband left her with nothing but Dick. However, when she manages to run into a gorgeous man with ice blue eyes who just so happens to live in her apartment building she is smitten.
Hudson isn’t looking for a relationship, after his ex-wife abandoned him and his son, Wiley, he doesn’t want to put his son through that type of loss again. But there is something about the new women in his apartment complex that catches his eye.
Will these two people who have been hurt in the past be able to overcome their fears and their losses and find love in each other?
Milly has been through a lot of heartbreak and loss in the past two years of her life and starting over is truly the best thing for her. My heart broke for her after reading everything she has been through. I truly wanted everything good to happen to her because she deserved it all. Hudson, we first met in From Ashes to Flames, he’s a veterinarian and an amazing father to his son, Wiley. He does everything for his son and is a great father.
Wiley and his love for Milly’s big, pretty butt stole the story for me. Wiley is just like any 5-year-old and his love for dogs, especially his attachment to Dick was great. Plus, some of the things that boy said had me cracking up. How could anyone abandon this adorable kid? I mean seriously, he is so adorable!
This story continued my love of the West brothers and I can’t wait to read Pearson’s story, especially after the ending of this one!

Emily Dixon, the girl from the bottom of the world, had let me in, won my heart, and then walked away. Now, I wanted to call keeps.
Dreaming for Tomorrow is book two in the Seven Thousand Miles Duet and if you haven’t read book one Living for Today, I highly recommend reading that one first or else a lot in this book will not make sense to you.
I loved loved loved getting this story from Austin’s POV. I love him and I love how he is with Em and everything about their relationship with each other. Things aren’t easy for these two and the past has come back to haunt them big time. Despite the bad going on in their lives they still manage to live for today and dream for tomorrow.
I wanted to join Austin and Em on their sightseeing adventures, how can you not want to hang out with them? Austin’s “dude maness” and Em’s feistiness made me want to be best friends with them. I also felt scared for them at one point throughout the story, you’ll understand which part once you read the book and my major dislike over one of the characters *cough cough Dale*. Not only did I fall for Austin and Em, but also Hudson and Em’s love for the boy.
I absolutely LOVED this duet and I am sad it is over. I’m crossing my fingers that we may see more of Austin, Em, Patch, Ben and all their families in the future because I truly loved every single character throughout the duet. I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to read these books and will definitely continue to read more from this author in the future.
From this moment on, we were living for today, tomorrow, and all the forever after’s we could possibly wish for.

This was a new to me author and book and I am so glad I had the opportunity to read it because it will not be my last. I am a sucker for second chance romances but I love that this one was about some 20 somethings who have been apart for a few years or some of the other generic second chances out there now.
Mati, Chris and Denton were best friends growing up until Mati and Chris started dating and Denton left town. Flash forward 27 years later and Denton is back in his hometown and forced to face the girl he left years and years ago.
With Denton back in town will true feelings be revealed, and secrets discovered?
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book. I loved that it broke the mold of traditional romances and the main characters were both in the 40’s, it truly felt like they were getting a second chance at love and life.
I highly recommend this one, especially for those who are fans of second chance romances.

I’ve been waiting for Rae and Tommy’s story since these characters were introduced in the first book and this story did not disappoint.
Rae and Tommy are the best of friends. They work together, they spending all their free time together, they do everything together. Yet, these two aren’t a couple. Rae is surrounding by people pairing up from her friends to her family and she wants that for herself and she wants that with Tommy. Tommy doesn’t see Rae as anything but his best friend.
This was a super sweet best friends to lovers romance. There was a slow build up to it and watching these two finally come to the realization that they are both in love with each other.
As always, it is nice to get more of characters from the previous books and introductions to characters in the next book.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by K.L. Myers, but it is my first book by Renee Dyer. I honestly didn’t know what to expect going into this book. I was hooked from the very beginning. This story was nothing like expected in the best way possible. It was an emotional rollercoaster that I didn’t want to end.
Brecken is a man on a mission. Willow is heart broken over her loss and just wants to be back with her love. This is a story of two extremely broken people who have found that someone to help piece them back together.
The letters, oh the letters, those killed me. They brought me to tears. I could feel my heart breaking for Willow. She had lost herself and finally got the chance to find herself. I had such a love/hate relationship with Brecken. He thought he was doing what was best for Willow, but I wanted to slap that man silly for what he did. I get why, but still. It broke me.
This story was an unexpected surprise that I couldn’t put down. It broke my heart, but also put it back together again.
