When you haven’t seen your ex after breaking their heart the first time seeing them again shouldn’t be when they are putting handcuffs on you and taking you to the police station for arson. Unless you are Gage and you are arresting the girl who broke your heart and caused you to flee town only to experience more heartache.
Lauren and Gage grew up together, they loved each other and they planned to be together for the rest of their lives. That is until Lauren ended things with Gage, broke his heart and caused him to run away to Chicago to forget his past. When he returns back home he is a broken man, even more broken than before he left Blue Beech. Can the one person he claims to hate, but still loves be the only person to truly fix him?
I loved the little bits and pieces we got of Lauren in Just Her Bodyguard and Just One Night so I was super excited to find out she was getting her own story. I loved the love/hate banter back and forth between her and Gage. You can tell how much they both try to hate each other, but still love each other and are just too stubborn to admit at times. We got more of Hudson and Stella, plus Willow and Dallas throughout the story. Gage’s best friend Kyle was great, I loved his feelings towards Lauren aka Satan as he liked to call her. I hope we get more of him in the future. But oh my goodness, I went on an emotional rollercoaster reading this. Learning about why Gage came home and finding out what happened in Chicago, why he and Lauren broke up. My heart broke for them both throughout the story. This is a beautiful story about getting a second chance when you never thought it was possible.

Tabitha is the "bad girl" of Oceanside Village and Chad is the local deputy. What happens when the deputy wants the bad girl?
They have a run in with each other when Tabby gets caught half naked at a pool and from that moment she is on Chad's radar. Flash forward a year plus some and Chad still wants Tabby. He can't stay away form her.
I couldn't put this book. I absolutely loved Tabby and Chad. They would have me laughing one minute and then feeling frustrating the next. The chemistry between Tabby and Chad was perfection! Seriously, Chad may be everyone's hot cop fantasy.
The secondary characters in this story were also fantastic and I hope that we get more of all of Oceanside in the future. Maybe even some more of Andy the Anaconda ;)
This is book will make you swoon, make you laugh and leave you feeling angry with the characters at times. It is the perfect story of the towns bad girl and the hot cop.

Lana Bitterman started Java Beans in her father’s backyard and has grown it into a coffee empire. She was looking to expand and knew that her best employee, Joe Coffee, would be a good fit for the job considering his background. However, Joe was being blackmailed by Doug, an old college “friend” of Lana’s. Joe definitely didn’t expect to fall for Lana, but the deeper he got the harder it was for him to follow Doug’s orders and destroy her and everything she has in order to protect his sister, Kitty.
I loved seeing a female as the CEO in an office romance, it was a nice role reversal and still fit the story. Lana is a strong female who knew what she wanted in life and thought about every situation. Joe is a young, confident man who will do anything to protect his family. The two of them together is like the perfect copy of coffee.
I did find myself getting a little lost at times with some of the Doug story line. I felt like there was some suspense and some build up that just seemed to fizzle out and left some unanswered questions. Hopefully, we will get some more answers and background in book two.
I dd find the book to be entertaining and a fun, easy read.

Hayden and Kory had spent time together over the summer, until Kory unexpectedly went back home. They weren’t supposed to fall in love, it was just supposed to be a summer fling. Things don’t always work out how they should. Kory knew what was waiting for her back home, a marriage with a man she had known for a majority of her life, a marriage with a man she did not love.
Hayden, a self-proclaimed bachelor, was willing to change his life for Kory and he knew he needed to go after her. After showing up at her home and learning why she ran and what her parents had in store for her future he knew he needed to get her out of there and bring her back to Alaska and start a life with her.
I absolutely loved Hayden and Kory’s story. Sure, they could have gone back to Alaska and had their happily ever after and that would have been the story, however, the more the story went on the more secrets were revealed and the plot would thicken. I loved not knowing what was coming next, it kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put this book down.
The dynamic between Kory and Foster family was fantastic. The instant connection Kory, Devney and Alexa formed was beautiful and, as always, the brotherly bonding between Drake, Hayden and Kane was great. I found myself swooning, experiencing anxiety and laughing (the drunk group text had me laughing). I also loved that we got more of Hollis, I hope he gets his own story!
Wrecked for You is like riding a rollercoaster in the dark, you never know what is going to happen next and it definitely won’t be anything you expect. I can’t wait to read more in Kane’s book!
