This is such an interesting story!
The world building is amazing, the characters are super interesting &
I haven't yet decided if I'm more of a Theo or a Vesyon fangirl but I hope to find that out in book two!
I am absolutely desperate to know what Cam remembered at the end and what will happen next!!

This was such an interesting read!
Sometimes I really miss reading books like this, the dark academy vibes, witchcraft and all the secrets!

It's a bit slow going at the start, but the ending more then makes up for it! Cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

At the start of this book it was all quite confusing, alot was happening at once and you feel you're missing some information.
But once you get further into the novel the writing style really makes you understand Rebecca and her reasoning as the missing information is slowly being shared with both the character and the reader!
And the Tenor is so well thought out!

By the end of the book you are left wanting more of the world that Rebecca lives in.

First off I adore Catrins writing style! She has a way of describing the scene in a way I could see if I closed my eyes.
Getting this prequel and now knowing a little of how the priesthood came to be really makes me want to know more!
Seeing how Ekelon was when he was younger both answers and raises questions, which has gotten me all excited for book 2!!

This story about a girl and a boy that are both a bit odd in their own way finding themselves while growing up has been a step out of my comfort zone, but one I am so glad to have taken!
Alex and Beatrice are such lovely characters they feel so real, it's as if I could meet them if only I went looking for them in the woods!
Evangeline did such a magical job writing this book! At some moments I could almost see the crazy things King Beatrice thought up on their adventures!
