It was okay. I was really frustrated with Brenner's writing style for the first third, but then she settled down, and the book got better. I think she tried to have too much Meaning and not enough Memoir. But I'm sure some people will like it.

What, ho! I thought this one was oojah-cum-spiff (ha! I used it in a sentence!), more so than even Right Ho, Jeeves. I'll always have a soft spot for Bertie, but Psmith was outright funny. I laughed so hard... well, you get the picture.

Fascinating. A sparse, eloquent look into medical technology and ethics and how they intersect with real life. And as good as "they" have been saying.

It's not Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings, but it is a good, solid, fun fantasy adventure. I was surprised just how much I liked it.

This could have been totally cool -- imaginary world becomes real and boy has to figure out how to deal with betrayal in both real and imaginary worlds -- but it's not. At. All. Sorry.

My first foray into the territory of Marueen Johnson. and I have to admit that I kind of liked it. It was a fun little story, but I think I like the way she told the story best: funny, clever, sweet -- but not overly so -- with just a bit of randomness and unpredictability thrown in. I'll definitely be reading more of her books.

I'm still trying to get my head around this one. I liked the plot, thought it was well-written, and enjoyed the suspense. But. The fact that the main character didn't have a name (on purpose, I do understand that) bothered me, as did her relationship with Maxim. I liked it better by the end... I'm just not sure how much.

I have WAY too many issues with this book (especially with Bella and Edward) to say I liked it. Still. It's vampire romance. It can't truly be awful. (Or, can it?)

We listened to the audio book of this one. Meh. Right Ho, Jeeves was better. And while there was silliness, there wasn't enough of it to be truly entertaining. I won't say that it's bad; it's just not as good as the other Woodhouses I've read.

Charming. Delightful. Sweet. Lovely. Not quite a happily ever after ending, but it was still very sweet. A wonderful little book.
