I’ll never forget this quote because it’s so dang true.

Memoirs are hard for me to rate because I’m no one to judge someone else’s story and experience. I applaud Mock so much for her courage, strength and vulnerability. This book is as real as it gets and Mock makes it clear that not everyone has the same story which I admire so much. I’m grateful to have read this and definitely encourage you to read it as well.

Gosh damn! Absolutely incredible. Angie Thomas is one of the best authors of all time. I have no words for this other than READ IT. (recommend reading before The Hate U Give if you’re a read by story line person)
