My first read book of the new year and I couldn’t be more happy about owning this edition. The Diary of Anne Frank is an every year read for me and I’m grateful of owning the graphic novel of one of my all time favorite stories.

I loved it even more than i did than the first time reading it.

Such a great sorry. Hard hitting, heart warming and very important. I’m so happy i picked this one up and highly recommend everyone read this.

The fact that I read this book while it was raining made the experience feel more as if i was there. So atmospheric and magical. This book took a different turn than I was expecting and I was invested very quickly & felt so close to Georgina and how she felt throughout the story. This was a short read but it started and ended in the the best way possible.

I think i loved this even more than the first! This was all the spookyness I needed to start off the month of October. Please pick up City of Ghosts if you haven’t yet, you won’t regret it. You NEED Cassidy and Jacob in your life. So much more heart was put into this second installment and I can’t recommend it enough.

the writing was very poetic and it was a beautiful story. Each chapter gave you a sense of inspiration and Acevedo is truly a remarkable writer. Also, this book will make you hungry and give you the motivation to try out a new recipe!
