This was an excellent twist on the Snow Queen fairy tale. I loved the characters and the interesting magical encounters. I think that most of T. Kingfisher's fantasy work is on the darker side, but this one especially. 

This might be one of my favorite takes on the Beauty and the Beast story. I loved the sort of unconventional main character and the characterization of the beast and enchanted house. 

The premise of this book sounded interesting, and I feel like when I describe parts of the book it does sound interesting, but it's written in a sort of removed way where everything feels like a summary of a past event. A lot of the characters either weren't likable or were hard to get a read on in general, especially what their motivations were for doing things. I felt like I was dragging my way through it the entire time and got nothing out of the experience.
