Where to start with this book?!?
It was such a gripping and easy read. I really didn’t want to put it down. I just felt so immersed in this entire world

It had lots of material that felt familiar to me through other stories I know and love and that really helped to build the atmosphere and draw me in

I truly enjoyed every moment of reading it but for me, I really wanted to know a bit more about what happened in the past. I felt if I understood more about when happened then, I’d have felt the gravity of present day events even more. This probably isn’t necessary to the story but I found myself thinking about it a lot and theorising on what may have happened

However, I cannot wait to see where the story goes and if you like a quick, immersive read with magic and magical creatures, this is definitely a book for you ✨

I have struggled to put into words how much I loved this book and how much it pulled on my heartstrings but I’ve given it my best shot!

This book was a truly heartwarming and beautiful read. Honestly, I fell in love with all of the characters, if you asked me to pick a favourite, I would list them all. They were all absolutely brilliant, so loveable and so funny. I listened to the audiobook and found myself laughing out loud and smiling as I walked down the street. There were almost happy tears on multiple occasions.

It was just pure joy and as soon as I finished it, I wanted to read it again immediately. I cannot emphasise enough how happy it made me and what more can you ask for from a book?

I just cannot put into words how much joy this book brought me and I would give it way more stars if I could! A gorgeous story about overcoming prejudice, accepting yourself, accepting others and finding home.
