Devilishly good!

I have said it before and I will say it again, I don't cry easily when reading books and this book made me sob. Tears of pain and joy. This book made me feel all sorts of emotions. This book= Perfection. I command you to READ IT NOW! Now I must go gobble up the rest of this authors work...

I read this in one sitting. It was emotional, gritty, raw, and real. I loved it.

Julie Kagawa can do no wrong. She always delivers epic awesomeness.

Colleen, I really don't know how I got through this book. I must be a glutton for punishment. My heart felt like it was ripped from chest at several points whilst reading this and I liked it. And I like you because you write these amazing books! Please never stop ripping my heart from my chest; and then putting it back again in better shape than before you took it out and stomped on it. You are evil. I love you.

So, I really loved the journal writing aspect of this book and I loved the scenes with Daniel. However, I just skimmed the repeated parts from Hopeless. Just chalk it up to personal preference, but I didnt care for re-reading scenes from Hopeless because the dialogue was identical and so it got skimmed through. I definitely think you should read this if you've read Hopeless, but I deducted a star because I just got bored re-reading the scenes I have read before. I really liked the new scenes and the journal entries to les though!

This book gave me a huge nerdgasm. It was fucking awesome.

This book was hard to get through mainly because it was hard to read about these amazing characters who think so little of themselves, but the ending was fantastic and full of hope. This is another book I would highly recommend if you are unfamiliar with depression and want to know what it is like for those who suffer from it.

I read this in one sitting mainly because it is quite short, but what it lacks in length it makes up for in powerful content. I Highly recommend this.
