This book was a vampire erotic beauty and the beast retelling and I loved it. This was a perfect quick and deliciously dirty read!
This book made me feel a lot of feelings. I loved Lindy's writing style, learning about her life, and how she handled her haters. A funny, fearless, feminist, heart healing hurrah!
I really enjoyed this rom-com. It was a joy to read! My only complaint is the lie the main character tells. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
Part memoir, part feminist manifesto, part social justice discussion, and all heart. This was an insightful exploration of feminism and how in particular white feminists need to do better, the formation of the me too movement, and ultimately a spark of hope for a more equitable future.
I didn't connect with this story right away, but that's okay because by the end I was loving it. I will say that this should come with a trigger warning for panic attacks. Aside from the spark of anxiety that ensued due to reading about panic attacks, I really enjoyed the personal growth that Queenie experienced. I also really enjoyed the discussion of mental health and the importance of seeking help.
If this doesn't ignite a fire in you, I don't know what will.
This book was kick ass! A high quality adventure with humor, heart, and a fierce heroine.
