I think this is officially my second most favorite CoHo book! It was so incredibly perfect! Please for the love of God (or whatever you believe or don't believe in) read a Colleen Hoover book! She is my romance queen for a reason! No one breaks your heart into a million pieces and then glues it back together like Colleen does!
The film Hocus Pocus is a classic and one of my all-time favorite films. That being said the first part of this book is a retelling of the movie in novel form which I enjoyed immensely! Part two is a sequel set 25 years in the future which features many of the same beloved characters and some new ones as well. It was pretty entertaining, but it didn't really live up to the original. Then again I wasn't really expecting it to. However the ending of the sequel was very intriguing and leaves it open for a third installment which I would be interested in reading. Overall this was a nostalgic and delightfully wicked romp that did work it's magic on me. I hope that another story is in the works.
I flew through this book. I didn't want to put it down! This was an incredible and interesting memoir about two ladies who I knew from films I love. If you're even a little bit of a fan of either Carrie or Debbie I think you will love this book! It was very insightful, inspirational, and quite emotional to read about what life was like for the brother of Carrie and son of Debbie. I highly recommend this book! I found myself in tears by the end, so make sure you have tissues at the ready when you get to the last few chapters!
I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment in the DC Icons series! Not as great as the Wonder Woman one, but it was still a fun read!
This was such a superb reading experience. Heartbreaking yet ultimately hopeful and heartwarming! I highly encourage everyone to read this book!
This companion novel to Moloka'i was wonderful. I loved the more in depth look into Ruth's story and even more so her relationship with Rachel. This was just as heartbreaking and equally hopeful as Moloka'i. I can't recommend these books enough! Go read them!
Somehow this one was even more dark and twisty than the first! Loved it!
I thought the first two books were deliciously dark and delightfully dirty, but this one was fucking filthy.
