Another fantastic book! Book 2 of The Wilderking Trilogy. The continuing story of Aiden, King Darrow, Corenwald, and the feechies in Feechiefen. Once again the kids kept asking for more anytime I would try to stop reading! A fabulous continuation of the fictional retelling of the story of David (before he becomes King). They can't wait for me to read the rest of the story in book 3!

Wow! Fantastic book - I literally could NOT put it down! I stayed up late finishing it in one day! I did receive an eARC of your book and am voluntarily leaving a review!.

First I had no idea there was a speech disorder called loghorrea! So I learned something new reading this book. I laughed out loud and cried and felt for Indie throughout the whole story.  The multiple guys vying for Indie had me cheering for my favorite one throughout the book. I love how relatable the characters were! This story keeps you engaged the entire time from the first sentences to the end! There were twists and turns I didn't see coming and absolutely loved this book! 

Wow! I have always loved reading stories about WW2 and this is no different. I loved learning about Betty, Zuzka, Jane and Marlene and their lives before Pearl Harbor, during the war and after. I learned so much from this book. I had no idea about the OSS and women involvement in the war to the extent of spreading propaganda throughout enemy areas and more. If you're studying WW2 in highschool/college or just looking to learn more about different aspects of WW2 this book is for you!

Shadow at the Morgue drew me in from the very first chapter. The mystery, intrigue, suspense it was all there as I followed the two main characters through the steps of piecing together the mystery laid before them. I grew to love Leo and Jasper, loved seeing peeks into their pasts and felt their emotions with them from shock, awe, doubt, intrigue, anger, scared and more. I loved the how realistic they seem from not everything working out rosy, to rash decisions, and intuitive thinking and questioning, characters just like us and I can't wait to learn more about them in future books. I definitely gasped a few times, said woah, chuckled and more and had my hubby asking what as I told him I was reading 🤣😍  The unexpected twists and turns are what I love! It is a page turner you don't want to put down until you've finished.  I cannot wait to read the next book!

It talks about the conflicts going on in Israel and follows the story of a group of humanitarian volunteers and an investigator reporter. The reporter (David) and one of the volunteers (Rachel) become the main characters. This book is full of twists, turns, excitement, suspense, and more. I read it in two days. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Again I can't wait to read book two.

I love this this authors writing. She is so down to earth and real in her writing, almost like you're having a conversation with her. This is her second book and I love how each chapter is short and encouraging. I cannot read more than one chapter a day so it's taken a while to read it, because I have to think on what she said, digest the thought questions at the end of the chapter and such. I LOVE how each chapter ends with a memory verse, questions for thought, a worlds response vs Christians relative, and action steps! There are absolutely so many good snippets and quotes from this book. And I love how I can come back and read a chapter on a specific topic whenever I need encouragement without reading the whole book. This book has been such a great encouragement of the last year of reading it. I highly recommend it to any Christian Mama who's struggling and needs encouragement in their parenting and more. 

One of my favorite quotes is from pg 210 "Taking the time to learn what there's our children's hearts, and then studying our family time to notice if their passions are reflected there, is crucial to creating a family culture in which our teens want to participate." 

No words. I wish I didn't have to put it down several times. A beautiful story, a glimpse into what it may have been like to live in Leningrad Russia in the early 1940s. Loss, Broken relationships, mended, love, finally understanding their childhood and more, plus a plot twist at the end I didn't see coming at the end of the book had me in literal happy tears.

Lynn Austin did a great job with the beginning of the story of King Hezekiah with this book. It begins when he's little and ends soon after he becomes King. It brings the story from the Bible to life. I know I've read about King Hezekiah but I'm not sure I've paid much attention to all that was going on. I do plan to go read again the actual account of Hezekiah in the Bible as well. But I thought this was very well done and can't wait to read the other 4 books in this series.
