Love the CBC show, so I have been wanting to read the play. Love the characters just as much, and the final scene had me blubbering. Beautiful.
DNF @ 70%. The sex scenes were fun, but romance isn't my jam and I couldn't push through.
I did not get along with this book. Many other reviewers have said it better, but it felt extremely exploitative of the murder victim, the connection between crimes was tenuous at best, and I was not a fan of the writing. I understand and respect the author's need to process her trauma, but I do not think this was at all successful as a book.
Fantastic book. Deftly explores weighty and uncomfortable topics while still being compulsively readable.
