I'm not sure I can rate this book properly. I liked what it was trying to do. It was an interesting way to look at the experience of immigration, disenfranchisement, and capitalism. But I totally lost interest in the last third of the book and I can't pinpoint why. I wasn'tinvested in the characters and the pacing felt off.
