This was hard for me to listen to, not because it was bad but because I don't think it works in audiobook form tbh. 
My reading comprehension was extremely low and I felt like I couldn't understand any of it. Maybe I'm just not smart enough for it idk lol

I expected her memoir to be more down to earth.

The author delves (probably accurately) into the world and mind of suicidal alcoholic teenagers with nobody around to guide them. It does show depression pretty well and is written in a way that keeps the reader somewhat invested, but it comes off as pretentious and feels a bit forced. I also think that the ending is a bit unbelievable.
