This was my first Sophie Lark book, but I do have her other books downloaded and ready to be read. I felt like I was in the world of Brutal Birthright and I was ready to fight for both families. I loved the banter between Callum and Aida, and I loved that it didn't end when they fell in love. I love when writers keep the banter even when the MCs fall in love and Lark did it perfectly. Plus I loved how they both challenged each other and grew together. I will be picking up the next book ASAP.

This is my first book by Bella Ash, and I wasn't disappointed. Now I just want to know who told Bella Ash she was allowed to break my heart like she did. I was hooked from page one, but it did lag in the middle, then picked up again. I can't wait to read the next book in this series, so I think I can wait a few months.
