Aaaaahhhh so cute! The Papagena dress on page 103 is my favorite. I'm not convinced I like the way the title characters end up relating to one another, but this is heartwarming and delightful.
Memoirs don't usually make me cry, but this one includes a devastating tragedy. What an amazing life she's had so far!
(PS: Sorry, Stella (age 12), but I hope you're the second trans president.)

I read a fun book once. It was awful.
This one was actually pretty good, but I know what my own grumpy-looking cat would have done with the happy butterfly, the cheerful ladybug, and the joyful bird. And it isn't "allow them to have a fun race while I sit here not participating at all."

A mixed bag, but many excellent essays. (If you're one of the contributors, I assure you, dear reader: yours was one of the very best.)
Trudeau hasn't lost his touch. I've read the first 15–20 years of the strip. I still cry over "immortality". These new strips are as wonderful as the ones I remember.
Corny like you wouldn't believe, but there are days when that's the best thing politics will offer you.
I can't say I've read all of the paths, but I've read several and they're all a lot of fun. I wonder if there's a page where the heroine reaches the planet Ultima!
Totally sweet, with lots of cameos (speaking of Sweet) and some subtle fourth-wall hijinx (uhh... why is Willow telling the reader how to pronounce Xander if he just introduced himself?) — long-time fans will delightedly recognize props and locales, and first-time fans will discover the power of courage and friendship.
