A cute story about non-monogamy (polyamory? poly...ailury?), both unethical and ethical. Sid has loving relationships with six families and they all meet each other's needs in different ways, but nobody knows about the others. After he's found out, Sid moves to a new neighborhood where he has six different families, but they all know about each other, “and, because everyone knew, nobody minded.”

Bless its heart, this book is from 2004 so of course it has jokes about the Bush twins getting drunk, and about buying a Caller ID projector from the Sharper Image. But also a lot of its advice is just too tacky for words.

Since this is a collection of speeches, and the author frequently needs to make the same points in each speech, it can get a bit repetitive. The points are still worth making.

Wow, it’s been a while since a 32-page picture book made me cry a little!

Excellent advice that could be applied to many service-oriented organizations such as libraries.
