EDIT: Ive had a couple weeks to think about why the ending of this book fucked me off so much, and I think it's because Sanderson wrote an incredibly well rounded female main character, and at the end of the day he still chose to make a man save the world. That's what pissed me off. And I know it's not that simple, but it bothers me.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't know how to rate this book. I didn't like the ending at all, but loads of the sub stories made me very happy... I feel like it was lacking some of the *stuff* in the first book that made me love it so much.

Sazed natation throughout in the chapter headers was great, and was quite easy to figure out it was him.

I don't love the idea that The Lord Ruler was actually a good guy because he did this stuff to protect people, cos he still killed people and tortured people and kept slaves. Like that wasn't necessary in order to keep ruin at bay. I can almost guarantee that the storage caverns were only meant for he nobility not the skaa.

I would DIE for TenSoon. I'm sad he didn't get to say goodbye to Vin in this book.

Elend is a gem.

I kind of wish we had a bit more of Spook.

The side characters got a bit lost overall...

Idk I have mixed feelings.

The end felt appropriate but I didn't like it, I was kind of hoping Sazed would never get his faith back. So for him to become god was just meh. But also quite predictable.

I found this one a bit harder to get into than book 1. Am looking forward to reading book 3.

I found the audiobook quite hard to follow... It made me less interested in the story and I found myself getting quite lost throughout.
