One of Dahl's better/best works, for sure. The witch descriptions were fantastic!
Still unsure why he's most well-known for Charlie and the Chocolate factory (prob cuz of the movie) This book far surpasses what happens to Charlie. ;)
I enjoyed the story flow. Even though the ending was weak, it would be satisfying in a child's eyes.

While I'm glad to know what happened, the teen angst was too high. The author presents some real emotions for the situation, but I'm unsure of the plot's realism - wouldn't the courts be a lot more strict?
Aside: Hannah didn't make sense. I thought the false parents were making this up to cover their kidnapping.
