i could tell from the first 20 pages that this book was going to be full of an unnecessary amount of description which i can’t vibe with. especially not in a thriller. might pick this up later, might not.
I gave this one 2 tries but I just couldn’t get into it. I wasn’t a fan of the humor, thought it was kind of cringe. It just wasn’t keeping my attention.
This book was rough. It was boring and repetitive
I got about an hour into the audiobook and I just couldn’t do it. I don’t know if it was the book itself or the narration but I honestly felt like it was a bit cringey. Sorry people who love it 🤷🏼♀️
This book is not for me. I gave it 100 pages and that’s about all I could take. I just have no interest is history, politics, etc. I gave it 2 stars because it is well written and I liked the story of her childhood.
