I liked the concept of this book. Helping kids with writing stories in a new and encouraging way. I liked the idea of the beat being the helpful one, So anyone can find their inner “bear” to help them.
I liked the illustrations. The colors were bright and the style was pleasing.
I didn’t totally connect to it and I’m not sure why that was. Overall it was a good helpful story.

Touching base on the basics of color pallets and how to use them to compliment one another this book went on to show beautiful color pallets and their inspirations. Showing you how to draw inspiration from the world around you. I thought this was so inventive and beautiful.
This book brings me back to elementary school. All the activities that helped to teach me math are in this book. They are fun and educational. Pretty much everything needed is either easy to find or you should have. It helps to teach children basic math while they have fun. When learning is fun it’s usually easier.
I loved I need a new butt. It was no surprise that I loved this too. A silly story about broken butts and the shenanigans a little boy gets up to when he has to fix it and a tray gets glued to his behind.
I supposed butt jokes are not for everyone but this is childish and funny and I am pretty sure most people could see the silly in it.

This is the cutest series of comics. I am pretty sure that the nerdy, klutzy, adorable girl who this comic features is based loosely on my life. Relatable and adorable, I want to read Valeries comics daily because I am pretty sure it would parallel my life.
What a cute little comic style story about the importance of self love. When you stop trying to please everyone and competing with everyone you are able to spend more time loving yourself and creating confidence. An important message for everyone. I enjoyed Dewdrops self confidence and how she made everyone else feel good about themselves for just being themselves.
A book about a kingdom with nothing in it. Nothing at all. Except love, time, imagination and family. This is a cute and vividly illustrated book showing how important time and love and family are. Not things and stuff but quality human interaction. I really thought it was a cute book.
I loved this book. A where’s Waldo styled book with a ddI worse cast of human beings. Encouraging counting as well as searching and finding. I felt the REAL scenarios were also so beautiful. Not everyone in this book was smiling and happy. Some were sad. Some were anxious. Some were angry. It was a book about the real feelings in the world. Validating not just emotions but diversity.
Truly one of the best children’s books and I cannot wait to get a physical copy in my hands!!

This book had A LOT of information. Valuable but at times I felt really overwhelming. I definitely didn’t feel this was a basics book. It was far too wordy and detailed. While wanting to learn about crystals I think less is more when beginning.
It was well done but it wouldn’t be my first choice to begin learning with.

So, I have never read Manga. But I LOVE The Nightmare Before Christmas. So I felt I needed to try this out.
The art was beautiful. The story was interesting. I could definitely see myself following this storyline as it progresses, in fact I NEED to see what happens next
