Corny knock knock jokes they made me chuckle and cackle throughout. They were innocent enough that kids could understand them and enjoy them and silly enough that adults can too.
I need more of these books! I love fairy tales. I love dinosaurs. I love this story. It is cute, and felt that the story was still true to the lesson while being more empowering and fun for kids and not so much a “prince saves the princess” cliche.
I would love stories like this for my kids and my niece and nephew. It is relevant, bold and colourful as well as great for any child.

This is a very simple and easy to understand how to art book. It farts out very basic and goes on to more advanced styles and techniques. I think I could learn a lot from this book and potentially increases my art abilities.
This is a unique spin on an already fantastic style of book. I love the search and find books, as do my children.
The pages are pretty simple and the things to find are clear. I LOVE they the pages are also coloring pages. While my kids are finding things they can color them in. This is genius.

This is a beautiful book about grief, and loss. The beautiful imagery throughout book were beautiful and sad. They showed the struggle Asha was going through in dealing with the loss of her grandmother. This is probably one of my favourite children’s books on grief due to the contrasting bold colors and pictures to the sad and subdued messaged.
Luca’s bridge is a story about a family living in the USA who is forced into deporting back to Mexico. Into uncertainty. Into poverty.
I have opinions. However. For this review I will simply state that the images are beautiful. Dark and brooding with hints of color and beautifully illustrated. The story is sad, and makes me uncomfortable.
I implore anyone with children to read this book. No matter your stance on immigration please do not allow it to be faceless.

This is a quick read about the birth of Jesus. I loved the illustrations and I loved the “Good News” throughout the story. Extra points for everyone being (I assume) the correct nationality for the story’s setting!
Where was this when I was in school?! My teenager would absolutely benefit from this step by step how to for studying and organizing a bujo (bullet journal). Each subject has clear and precise diagrams, lists, notes, etc and this is a great tool for a year (or more) in school.

The Little Fir Tree is a children’s story with a very important message. Don’t wish away your life. Simple as that. For a children’s book this made me very sad. Maybe because I’m 33 and a mom, lol.
This book was vividly illustrated in a whimsical fashion. The story has a happy ending and it really drives the whole messGe home.

I LOVED this book! The colors, the illustrations and the simple words were fantastic to read to my son. He enjoyed it as much as I did. The flip pages are something he enjoys in books and I feel this one would be a huge hit for him! Plus it’s skeletitos... so that is a bonus of awesome!
