An amazing book - well written and powerfully gripping.
I find that I can't truly give a full review yet. It's one of those books that's left me with a lot of thoughts that I need to mull over and can't fully digest straight after finishing.
However, I would highly recommend others have a read. It's a short read, very intense and rather heavy, but definitely worth it.

So good. So so good, I can't begin to eloquently explain just how good this was. I loved it. It was so much more than I was expecting it to be and just kept on making me smile.
A new one for the all time favourites shelf.
It picked it up as a personal read, but I think upper ks2 and up kids would love it!

This book just completely missed the mark for me.
When the main concept of a book is about systemic racism, but I can't even manage to put it in my bipoc folder? Exactly.
It tried, and I understand what it wanted to do. But it was just so overly complex for something that had been simplified so much in my opinion.
The names chosen were confusing, the colours of the cars were incredibly hard for me to keep track off (identifying Chase and Ace in most of the pictures took serious time to figure out), and I'm just getting behind tired of non human metaphors that only make it more confusing.
