I really enjoyed the wonderland parts and Katz and Alice relationship, i also liked how the characters in kexford had wonderland versions, but I didn't care about the politics in Kexford parts.

 

 I was reading this book in 2024, and enjoying it, until it i got to end of the book where they have this sentence which is President of the United States Katherine Walker was sitting in the Oval Office of the West Wing with two foreign ambassadors. It took me out of the story a little bit because I was imagining it as taking place in the same time period that I was reading it in and We haven't had a Female president, my guess to why Chris Colfer made the President female (other than to surprise people) would be because he was hoping Hilary Clinton would when the 2016 Election.
