Interesting characters

I don't think you will enjoy this book if you go in expecting a plot lol. It's a wonderful testament to the craft of writing and the skill of the author.

Sickening and awful, but I couldn't look away

First introduction to Wharton. Really well written. I feel for Lily. At the same time, it was a bit funny reading her entrance into the working class expecting to be special because of her birth and failing miserably lol

I could not get into this. I also think based on the title, I thought there was gonna be some sort of horror/supernatural element to this. Oops lol.

Cute I guess. The way that romance books characterize regency 'feminist' characters kinda make me cringe I'm sorry. Also, Tucker is a terrible romance lead name lmfao

Could be the time that I chose to pick up this collection, but I could not make myself care about any of these stories lol
