Ok but why was this book actually so good?? Like I could not put it down!! Alexis is probably the most awkward and cringey FMC I’ve ever read and I absolutely loved her. The Greek/Roman mythology inspired post apocalyptic world was actually so cool to read about and there’s still so much more to learn. There’s lots of past trauma and PTSD in this one. Plus four insanely overprotective men somehow falling for a completely oblivious and ridiculously obstinate girl who just dropped into their world with no warning, talk about a slow burn hate to love story. This book was like a drug to me. I couldn’t resist even if I tried. 

The sudden jump into this world made the beginning a little rough to get into but once the plot really picks up a few chapters in it doesn’t stop until the end. I’m already dying for the next book!!!

As with any book, check CW/TW, this one isn’t for everybody but nothing over the top compared to other dark romances out there. (At least so far 👀) Definitely a more plot/world heavy first book but I’m excited to see where it goes!
