I'm going to try to stay spoiler free but its probably pretty easy to figure out what happens if you've ever read Cassandra Clare's other books.

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.
OK so I probably should've known Cassie would do something like this, in fact I saw it coming but by by then it was too late and I knew there was nothing I could do about. I am crying literal tears and sniffling like child. There is no possible justification for what happened. It didn't do anything but make people cry. And don't get me wrong, I love books that make me cry, but only when the reason for tears is actually reasonable and not just to produce tears for the fun of it. I thought of rating this 1 star just for that ending, but the Sizzy was able to redeemed 2 stars. If it weren't for the ending, this would've given 5 HUGE stars. But no, Cassie insists upon ending a series with filling a swimming pool with the tears of her readers. And this tragedy brought the story to an immediate end, with little to no resolution to make up for it. I mean really? WHAT WAS THE POINT?????

So I'm crying very angry tears right now and stuffing my face with chocolate in the hopes of distracting me from my once again shattered heart. 

Edit: Now that the initial emotions brought upon by that hideous ending, I am officially neck deep in denial.
