Omg this book was hilarious. I was laughing and giggling the whole time. Just a silly little story about a girl stumbling into the mythical world while also kicking some ass along the way. Tori is what anyone who’s ever worked in the service industry wishes they could be. Her throwing the serving tray at an obnoxious customer in chapter one instantly sold the story for me. She’s so sassy I couldn’t help but love her.

This was such a cute cozy fantasy book. As a Peruvian, reading about Asiri and her friends in Pisqu felt so familiar and comforting. I’ve always wanted more books about Peruvian mythology and folklore and this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for!! I’m really excited for Paloma’s story in the next book. 

Omg this was such a cute story! The banter was so fun throughout the book. A great palette cleanser.
