A fast read with movie-like  pacing. One minute they hate each other and the next they’re working together. Some shenanigans and kidnapping happens and they realize they were meant for each other or something. Still a super cute arranged marriage enemies to lovers story but mostly lighthearted fun than angst and drama. 

Untied loose ends made the ending feel a bit off. Lots happened this book but a lot more didn’t happen. Really wish it was longer so we could see more about where all her friends end up and carry on after the final battle. But even from the beginning of this book, it was missing a lot of Mackenzie’s emotions and relationships from the past 3 books. I get she’s kinda emotionally constipated and can only ever feel guilt and anger but I think her friends deserved more focus time than they got this book. Overall I still liked the story and love the characters so hoping the next series picks back up.
