It’s honestly not scary in a “90s slasher movie” kind of way, it is much more realistic. That makes it just so much creeper. I also HATED John.

Eehh, the writing was okay. It wasn't like mind-blowing, but it wasn't terrible either. Also lesson learned: don't try to buy an old ass apple peeler from a girl online.

I just love this book so much. The writing style takes a minute to get used to but that is seriously my only complaint. I like that the setting was so abstract and undefined. It really made the characters (Red and Blue) the main focus. Also, Red and Blue relationship is just so lovely and sweet. I really enjoyed it.
