I love the characters so much, but there wasn’t much development in the plot until the last 50 pages. Still, it’s great book. I would totally recommend.

Bro, Pochita is so adorable. I already love him and Aki. Makima is creepy as fuck, though.

I love the colored pages in these books. There has only been a few but I still love them, nonetheless. Honestly, I don’t really know what’s going on and I kinda like it. You’re able to make up you own story instead of being told exactly what is going on. The author really takes the idea “show don’t tell” to a whole nother level.

I had to read it for school but it was one of the better books I’ve been assigned. It was a nice, short read and it got the point across pretty well. Basically, it was short and easy to understand but a little repetitive.

I loved all the characters. I just want them to all be happy and I swear I’m going to cry if anything else bad happens to Kakeru. The friendships among the main characters are so sweet and pretty realistic. I can’t wait to read the next one.

The whole concept reminds me a lot of the game "Detroit: Become Human." Like it's about robots, who are very similar to humans, that people buy to help with life. For most of the book, you can tell something is wrong with Josie and the other characters, but Klara's world just gets weirder and more messed up as the book progresses. It shows how different people process change, specifically change they don't have any control off. I found it very interesting, but it was very repetitive at times. Some needed to take away Ishiguro's pen or cut down the book a little.

Paper Towns by John Green wasn't terrible, but I’m not going to actively try and recommend it to anyone. It was a nice and quick read, but I have three major complaints. 1. The slang and jokes in this book are super outdated and didn’t age well. They weren’t anything I couldn’t deal with, but they definitely didn’t make me laugh. 2. Lacey had no personality, and it felt like the only reason she was included was to check the “female character included in story” box. It was really annoying. 3. Margo’s obvious mental illness was completely glossed over. She ran away enough times that people were no longer surprised by her disappearance and she basically idolized death. Instead of using Margo’s actions as a way to discuss mental illness, she turned into a stereotypical “manic pixie dream girl.”

The book is about two characters, a blind girl named Marie-Laure LeBlanc and an orphan named Werner Pfennig. I really did enjoy the book but I had a few major problems with it. You read through most of the book in their POVs so you know they will eventually meet up but when they, do it’s pretty boring. The whole book builds up to that moments and it kinda fell-flat for me. Also, I felt like the pacing was very, very slow and the book could have been like 100 pages shorter. It was a good but but it just felt so slow and so repetitive at times. If you want to read a book more for the vibes than the actually plot, this is a good book for that. The book does have pretty short, easy-to-read chapters which make the process of reading much easier. Overall, it was a great book but not my favorite.
