The events in this one just happened too far apart for me to stay invested with months between email updates. I'll try again someday, reading it in the ordinary way

This one is on me: I picked this up on a whim from the library, looking for a lighthearted read, and completely failed to check moods or warnings on Storygraph. The moral of the story here is that if you're looking for something specific, actually check that the book is what you were after.
