i stole this book from my friend’s mom cause i couldn’t put it down 

this book was horrible and i honestly only finished it bc i thought my review would have more weight than if i dnf’d it. 2x speed while half listening still felt too long. 

there were weird vampire antics, some real-life stalking via twitter, and of course no one knows how to communicate. not a fan. 

i really don’t have much to say. predictable plus had weird/unethical relationship dynamics with a “revelation” about gossip at the end = not my style. 

fun!! we love an unapologetic queen! 

it’s like trying to solve a murder, when you know who the killer is but just not how they did it (and how they got away with it). 

i found myself wanting more, not of length but of detail. madeline miller’s portrayal of relationships is usually so vivid and tangible and true, so maybe i got my hopes up too much.
