everyone in this book needs to go to therapy!!!! 

not bad, not fantastic. an interesting concept. 

WOW. truly unhinged, and i was HOOKED. 

the romance was unnecessary and i wasn’t a fan;  that brought down my rating. 

i got bored. the personification of 80s hairstyles and magical sweaty arm bands are not my thing. 

absolutely unhinged. i couldn’t put it down. ottessa moshfegh has done it again

i really was not intrigued, and had to push through to finish this one. first half was VERY slow. 

this was okay. it has a similar premise to the haunting of hill house, but took a detour. i was really hoping the ending would tie up all the loose ends, but unfortunately it didn’t and i was left with something that didn’t feel at all plausible.
