I know I have said this about Thorn’s writing before but she is just generally good fun which I enjoy a lot. This series follows a group of Mercenaries and assassins in a found family sort of way which I swear is just kind of catnip to me honestly. Alessa does a good job of balancing the overarching plot of the series as a whole with a satisfying conclusion for each book. I never feel like I have been left with an irritating cliffhanger but there is still enough I would like to know that I want to come back, also her dudes really fucking love to eat pussy, so like, win win. This series defiantly has her most feral characters which I was really here for.
