Really solid YA mentally-easy summer read. Took me a second to get into, but the plot moved along fast enough and was entertaining. The author did an excellent job of showing the complexities of friendship and the complicated feelings that come with them. There were definitely times that the dialogue wasn’t realistic (a 14 year old boy says “whomever”), but I was able to forgive that enough to enjoy the story. 

Wow, this is a beast of a book. Incredible world building and so well written. This is not typically my genre, and I wouldn’t have picked this up on my own, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. Will definitely be reading the next book in the series. 

This was incredibly well written and well done. I loved that the story had interconnected parts that made the book feel whole. The illustrations were very precise and added so much depth to an already well-written text. 

This was very cute, and I wasn’t ready for the first volume to end. I must know what happens next!

Great sequel. Very reflective, and I could relate a lot. Looking forward to the next one.

I’m never disappointed by Raina Telgemeier and the way they can pack so much emotion and story into a graphic novel for kids.

Really mid, actually. Was hoping for something with more twists and turns. Instead I got a story about twins that fell a bit short.
