I read this almost immediately after I read ‘Flung out of Space’ an biographical graphic novel about the author. This book was and is still important to the queer community. This was one of the first books to be written to have a happy ending with a lesbian couple.

I was lucky enough to win this book in a giveaway! I read it all in one day and I have to say, I loved it. It was a lovely collection of short stories involving my favourite animal! The mighty kitty cat!

These are adorable stories that share valuable lessons throughout the book. My favourite quote from the book is:
‘everyone knows how explosive enmity can suddenly erupt from friendship. Loving is never risk-free. Whoever ignores this fact falls victim to his own neglect,’

This quote hit deep to me. It’s true and the entire story uncovered an important lesson. I’d highly recommend to any fellow cat lovers.

Plus this book includes illustrations for each story!! Which I find to be amazing.
