I wanted to love this, but I didn't. It was predictable all the way through. It was unnecessarily slow, and there was so much unnecessary info. I didn't feel attached to any of the characters. Gore does not make a book horror, and it wasn't really an original idea.
I picked this up because of a podcast recommendation. The premise sounded interesting. And it was, for about thirty pages. After that, it became boring and predictable.
